The disc was undamaged and I got the Club Nintendo coins from it so unless I keep having frame drops (which the Nintendo rep at customer support said may be due to a damaged disc) then ill trade it in it's such a hassle to drive to ship it, wait a week or more for credit, and then find another...

Dont know about that bought a copy of Mario Kart 8 and it said it had a small scratch cut similar to that description i listed above and there was an actual hole in the plastic case despite it being a sealed copy
