If you want 1000 points really quick, go rent King Kong and play through it using the cheat codes (unlimited ammo, health, weapons, etc). There's no messing around with "kill 250 enemies using the sniper rifle" achievements- you play through the game to the end, you end up with 1000 points...

I went by one today, Ipod/mp3 player accessories are 40% off. Blank media is 25% off.

I'm looking forward to trying this game. My only hope is that its easier to get a quickmatch going than Uno. It takes me 10-12 tries to get into a game because I'm always getting booted. Maybe if I showed pornos on my Live cam... :lol:

Something I just thought of, I am assuming this keyboard will also work with PCs, if you were using that wireless gamepad adapter for Vista...

I dunno about the keyboard- but I HATE the idea of people IMing me while I'm on the 360. I have IM on the computer AND on my phone, do people seriously need to get a hold of me while I'm playing Gears? Maybe this will be a good idea when they have more games out that lets people on PCs and...

Scored a copy of Crackdown with the Halo 3 beta invite for 20% off last night. Less than 50 bucks, is a pretty good deal. I think I got the last copy. All the 360 stuff is 20% off... This was at the Scottsdale, AZ store.

I checked the one near me last night. Most everything, incl all new games are 10% off. I did notice most of the Apple stuff was gone, and the discounts on what was left were not that deep.

I'll probably just get the LE, since the metal case will hopefully go with the LE case for Halo 2. Does anyone know if Best Buy is still offering the 1600 point card with the pre-order?

It can happen to any kind of gift card. I had it happen once to an Old Navy gift card. Did you try to exchange it at the retailer? Or are you just assuming they won't do it?

I enjoyed the single player campaign. Not the BEST SH00t34 EVARRRR!!!1! or anything, but enjoyable. The REAL fun (for me) was/is the multiplayer- someone hit the nail on the head when they compared it to Goldeneye. It was almost like getting another, really great game for free. :) XBL just...

Well, what I don't get is that they had a promotion where some people were supposed to get FOUR games, and from the sounds of it only got 3. What's up with that? I mean, I understand about being grateful to get anything for free, but still- if the promotion is for X, you shouldn't get Y...

Well, I signed up for 2, and then signed up again for 4, and ended up getting 2 games. Frogger and Joust. Better than nothing, I suppose. Anyone who doesn't want their robotron code- I'll give it a good home. :)
