There is a converter box which I think is $60 - I forgot what its called, where you plug in a Wired Xbox 360 controller to the box and then the box to the PS3. This is much better, search youtube and google for reviews, especially worth it for $30 or so.

Actually I just called a couple of target stores, price is $29 for a 3 year warranty (inclusive of the first year manufacture warranty). I guess $29 is not bad - for two additional years, warranty starts on the date of purchase. I will probably go to the store to buy one. Thanks!
