this makes me feel really old, as i only get to play a couple of games a month (minus team fortress 2, which consumes a lot of my time).
january:
rock band
assassin's creed
february:
mass effect
harvey birdman: attorney at law
march:
their reservations where more of the 'this is going to take some getting used to' nature than the 'we don't like this game' type. as long as it's mildly thief-esque i'm going to be a happy man. i miss those games.
definitely. i love the hell out of lumines.
it certainly feels a little weird to pay [insert price paid here] for it on xbox when i paid $10 for lumines 2 on psp, but even if the game was a $30 retail title i'd pick it up.
very real. i've received 5 games thus far (2 gh2's, gears of war, halo 3, ddr) and am working on a 6th. just make sure you're organized with the phone numbers you need to cancel trials and the dates by which you need to cancel. i also save all of the emails i get from trainn and the related...
I got credit for the ebay success kit and stamps with credit requests. didn't get a confirmation email for grant mentor and there hasn't been any activity on my request (it's been a solid month), so i'm 2 for 3.
columbia house will end up costing you about $100 (like $17 for the initial purchase and 4 more at $20 or higher), but it's not bad if you're in the market for dvds anyway. they're a bit overpriced (most of the specials don't count towards your commitment), but when you factor in half a 360...
i think all of my games (4!) have shipped out on the weekend thus far, though that could be coincidental. i placed the order for the last one on friday and it was marked as shipped saturday night or sunday. showed up on thursday from amazon.
weird....i got my return a few days ago and it was for $94.84. lucky you.
i actually felt kinda bad after this one as amazon must've eaten something like $40 in postage, so i sold my 4th guitar hero (kept the first 2) on ebay. i ended up getting $90 for it (plus shipping, but minus ebay fees)...
also, amazon asks you the reason for your return when you go through the process. if you select "i ordered the wrong item" or "i don't want it any more" it tells you that you have to pay the return postage (along with the original postage, in fact). if you select "the item is not compatible...
you enter the order number on the packing slip and it pulls up the items on the order. then you choose your return reason and it comes up with a page to print out (one sheet for inside the box, one is a usps shipping label).
i picked up a copy yesterday for $12.99 and a copy today for $17.99. peeled off the layers of stickers and found the following:
5/23/07: dropped from 17.99 to 12.99
6/26/07: up from 12.99 to 14.99
6/27/07: up from 14.99 to 17.99
the guy behind the counter also told me he grabbed a copy for...
just wanted to give an update on the amazon return thing:
i'm on my third guitar hero and all three have come from amazon (not sure if it's geographic or random, but i'm in lansing, michigan). i kept the first two and printed out a return slip for the third this morning. i chose "this product...
my first copy of guitar hero showed up this morning and my second is on its way. i cancelled the ebay success kit via email with no problems. i called to cancel grant mentor yesterday and the guy took my information and said i'd receive a confirmation email in the next 24 hours. i didn't...
