Hey guys. I have a friend who wants to get a PS3 for his kid for christmas. I was wondering if you knew of any deals going on that could ideally be had in a brick and mortar store. A 60gb model would be best, but since they are hard to come by a 40gb would do too. Thanks a million.

So, is there a way to back up the data then? Or are you just stuck either rebuying or not reformating.

I have tried searching but cant get a definitive answer so here it goes: If I have a game shared on 5 systems and one of those systems reformats to install linux will the person who reformated have to buy the game again or will they be able to redownload it? Has anyone confirmed game to system...

Well I decided to test the waters. I put a preorder on GTAIV for the ps3 its 10 dollars and a great price. So worst case I am not out too much but enough people vouged and my conversation with them went well. Only time will tell.
