$10 OFF $10 at Barnes&Nobles

Just beat me to posting this deal. Also, it isn't $10 off $10. There is no minimum. There's a catch, though:

Coupons with a dollar value will be applied to the merchandise subtotal, before any shipping charges or taxes have been charged.

Which means... it is impossible to get something for free. You will at least have to pay shipping. This is a pretty cool deal if you need to catch up on some reading. :)

Also, sign in to your Discover card site, and follow their link for 7% off your purchase.

Coupon expires November 22, 2004.
Thanks, I just ordered If Chins Could Kill for 7 bucks shipped.
You're gonna love it. I have an autographed copy from the first printing.

This is a pretty decent deal...normally I order books from amazon with free shipping when I order other stuff....I got two books from BN for $11.98, 4.98 shipping (ripoff) and some tax....total came to $7.56. $3.78 per book, shipped. Not bad at all. Thanks!

FYI this is pretty good for some pretty cheap game guides if you like those....picked up ESPN NBA 2K5 guide (hey i know it's not necessary, but i like guides) for $4.33 shipped.

Life is full of the unexpected. I had no idea I would end up spending $45 on books this evening. I knew I wanted to pick up America (Daily Show), but I needed something else to add to my cart for free shipping (why does trying to get free shipping so often seem so much more expensive?). After seeing the suggestion of If Chins Could Kill, I thought I was set, but then I found that Amazon was selling it for $3.99, so I had to get another $21 worth of stuff from amazon, and another $10 worth from B&N (gift cards do not count towards qualification for free shipping). I ended up getting Rich Dad Poor Dad from B&N, and four other bargain books from Amazon, including Steve Martin's Shopgirl: A Novella, a couple of non-fiction poker books, and a book on the history of money in America (The US, specifically, I believe).

Thanks OP, I think.

guessed- you're the reason that the stores have deals like this. I don't know whether to call you stupid for falling into a corporate trap or applaud you for both ensuring there will be more deals and showing some respect to an excellent store.

Yeah, I know it. Gotta play my part.

Thanks, picked up American Psycho for $5.71 shipped.

Make sure you check prices on dvd's/cd's/books, some of their prices are high, and with shipping wouldn't be a good deal. Check dvdpricesearch for dvd's or deepdiscountdvd which tends to have some of the lowest prices.

Wish I could use it again, wouldn't mind getting Nightmare before christmas or duel ce on dvd or pick up some cd's.

Great, now in addition to games, I gotta spend money on books, mangas, and more books + mangas. I really think every finding this site, I've spent more money. Thanks OP!!
Got the Garfield Holiday Special dvd for $3.46.

Thank you very much, OP.
That makes two of us! Nice deal

HOLY SHIT!!!

They have the Halo boxset for $15 - $10 off that equals around $10 shipped! A very cheap deal that I was about to spend $21 on at GameStop. Thank you very much for the deal!

nice thanx just got the garfield holiday dvd and the halo boxset all for 16.06 shipped free. Not too bad. I have garfield as himself now i just need the tv show boxset but its 30 bucks

Alright, my dad just ordered it for me. I got the Halo boxset for $8.66 shipped! They didn't charge tax which made that even better. Glad I didn't pick this up at GameStop for over twice the price! :D

Thanks for the deal, I picked up a trade paperback comic (Batman Hush vol.2) that I was looking to get anyway, and picked it up for $5.xx shipped! Thanks again!

Is the Halo boxset a set of Halo Chapter books? Can someone explain to me in detail? I'm afraid I never did like Halo much at all but I'm willing to give the books a try since it's cheap.

It's the three Halo novels bundles together. The first book leads up to Halo, the second book is Halo, and the third is the events between Halo and Halo 2.
