From FW: Didn't see this posted elsewhere, so here it is.

Was browing my June 2005 issue of PC Gamer, and on page 61, there is a coupon for $10 off any purchase it seems (no minimum mentioned- see sales associate for details.) Valid May 3rd - June 30th. Looks like it's in store only.

Hey guys if somebody has it, would they mind hosting the coupon?

Here's the fine print from the coupon:

Sale $10 Off

Limit one per customer, Cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. Not valid on any previous purchases. Coupon must be presented at the time of purchase. Pre-played games, systems and / or accessories are excluded. While supplies last. Selection may vary by store. No substitutions may be made. No rainchecks will be issued. Typographical errors are not the repsonsibility of EB Games. Not valid at EBGames.com. Some exclusions may apply. See sales associate for complete details. Valid 5/3/2005 - 6/30/2005. Stronghold 2 PC (sku:246603-5).

My concern is the last part there where it says Stronghold 2 PC. I think that this may only apply for this game, especially since right above the coupon in the magazine it has a picture of Stronghold 2 and Reg. $39.99, sale $29.99.

For this to be a coupon for $10 off anything in the store with no minimum purchase required would be just too good. I'll have to wait and check with my EB Games, but I'm guess that this is just for Stronghold 2 for the PC.

I'm sure you're right, but why would they throw in all of that fine print about what's excluded? If it's only for Stronghold 2, then technically everything else is excluded. Is someone mistakenly going to want a Stronghold 2 pre-played game system?

Hmm... if it's off anything, I suppose you could buy a copy of PC Gamer & a $2 game, then repeat the process over and over again.
Does it have to be cut out from the magazine?
I would think so. Most coupons need to be removed to be used. ;)

What I meant was can a copy be used. Oh well, doesn't matter anymore since it's only for Stronghold 2.

Well, if one just cut out the actual coupon part, I could see a lot people getting away with using this. In the coupon, the only real mention of Stronghold is at the very end.
