Hello CAG's. It appears as though the final PS2 games are being released this year and the PS2 is finally about to retire for good. Well after looking at some Top ## greatest PS2 games (including IGN:drool:) I felt that us CAG's could do something much better. Here is the format I think can work. Everyone has to put up at least 10 PS2 games. How you place the games depends on how many points it gets.

1st Place-25 points
2nd Place- 24 points
3rd Place- 23 points
4th Place- 22 points
5th Place- 21 points
6th Place- 20 points
7th Place- 19 points
8th Place- 18 points
9th Place- 17 points
10th Place- 16 points
11th Place- 15 points
12th Place- 14 points
13th Place- 13 points
14th Place- 12 points
15th Place- 11 points
16th Place- 10 points
17th Place- 9 points
18th Place- 8 points
19th Place- 7 points
20th Place- 6 points
21st Place- 5 points
22nd Place- 4 points
23rd Place- 3 points
24th Place- 2 points
25th-100th Place- 1 point

Every game you nominate after 25 gets 1 point so you are encouraged to nominate as many great games as you want.

Rules:
1. You may vote from now until March 24th at 11:59 EST. This gives everyone a full 3 weeks.
2. You may only vote for games released in North America. Imports don't count.
3. There is no one game per franchise rule. Vote for all of the GTA's, MGS, and FF that you want. ALSO, you can only put one game in per slot. (GTA series doesn't count)
4. Please keep your voting to only one post. You may edit it all the way through until the deadline.
5. You can only vote for a game once. Don't try giving your favorite game extra points.
6. Only one version can count. Example: Metal Gear Solid 3 counts as Metal Gear Solid 3. You can vote for either Snake Eater or Subsistance (not both!) and they will both count towards Metal Gear Solid 3.

Did you want to add a restriction on having any individual game appear more than once? If I listed Katamari Damacy for all 25 slots, I'd assume that you wouldn't go ahead and give it 325 points.

Any similar restrictions on listing a game more than once under different versions/editions? I'd figure you wouldn't want someone listing Resident Evil 4 on one line and Resident Evil 4 Premium Edition on another.

Not trying to be a dick. Just want to illustrate a few possibilities that aren't addressed at the time of my posting this.

I'll come back to this during a weekend when I can look at my collection and judge.

I wouldn't even know where to start. I mean...I'd start with Snake Eater, but I wouldn't know where to go from there. I completely forgot about Zone of the Enders until seeing Spanky's list. Both of those games were killer. FFX was probably the most engaging RPG I've ever played.

Man, PS2 was the shit.

its a shame to me that so many ps2 games ended up not being so good. if it werent for this conundrum thered be a top 200 required!!
