GameStop is getting into the preorder game by giving 1k in PUR points ($1) if you preorder a game and pick it up within a week of the release date. Works for instore and online. Games listed are:

I used to love GS, b/c you could make out on some decent deals with a little bit of footwork but in recent years, they've jacked up their used prices to ridiculous amounts. And I'm not talking about the really rare games (like Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn or Xenoblade Chronicles), I'm talking about in general. Their used game prices are almost what most places charge new (even if you ignore GCU at BBY). 

Plus, it doesn't help that they sell Amazon giftcards.
