I would still try to buy a regular gift card with it, then you can get around the restrictions.

Since this is in effect, Has anyone ever tried buying PSN cards or XBL points? I'm tempted to pick get FF7 and such off of PSN.

This site is such a crapshoot! (Overstock) Even without the restrictions, I would caution you shopping with them. Ordered something and got sent the completely wrong item. Luckily they sent the right one after, but I've heard of instances where they did not.

It's a shame because I was thinking about getting Nano Assault. Wouldn't have been a bad deal at $10 and I would have got some Club Nintendo coins out of it too. First time users get free shipping as well it seems.

they always exclude Books, Music, Movies & Games in their offers, that's why I don't bother shopping there anymore

So, I give them $10, they give me a gift card worth $20, that I can't buy anything with? OK, who wants $10 anyway? Much better to have a useless gift card worth $20.

How many suckers are buying this, just to find it's not redeemable for anything they want?
 
The original offer found a couple months ago included everything. Overstock pulled the rest of the alloted amounts available through the groupon-like site (I believe it was eversave) with a day left on the sale as they realized they were getting hammered and losing a lot of money.

Since then they've excluded everything in their offers. It's a joke now. I got in on 3 the first time and picked up some books and two xbox live 1600 point cards. No problems for me on my orders.
 
It's only one per person. I was seriously thinking about buy a few so I could get a nice graphics card so I can finally play my free copy of Rage. I'll pass.
 
you know instead of telling us what we can't spend this on maybe they should just tell us what we can spend it on though it would probably be a very short list.
 
I bought a showerhead i've been wanting for a while now. Good deal and free shipping made the order come to 19.96. You guys complain too fucking much.

What model shower head? I am looking at a new rain head showerhead, but god damn they are expensive. And I need two of them.

I also like this one, but its brushed nickel, and I am worried that I will have to source out brushed nickel fixtures, which may be not as popular as the bronzed ones..

overstock has some excellent deals on high end clothing, shirts from English Laundry are super comfortable.
