continue? It seems theres going to be a lot thats open to interpretation. If you're tracking behind a wide range of consoles, including near the GAMECUBE, then you're not pushing hardware. You're doing the EXACT OPPOSITE. You're PREVENTING sales.

Substandard 3rd party software will indeed fill the shelves, and is indicative of the impending success, as it was with the NES/SNES/PS1/PS2.

I guess I'm not winning this one :)

I'm not quite following you- I'm stating that many people are and will continue buying PS3's based on the Blu-Ray drive. Hell, last night I saw a PS3 commercial that just advertised blu-ray movies, they didn't show or even mention games.

Are you looking at potential sales with a (hypothetically) cheaper PS3 with no BR?

Otherwise you could capitalize off another person's idea, tweaking it slightly. The last person to comment would have the benefit of reading sll other's ideas.
