Just wondering, out of any potential candidates in the pool or wading the waters for the 2012 Presidential Election, who are you looking toward?

I'd do a little happy dance if I thought Herman Cain had any significant chance of election.

I liked Mitt Romney back in '08 and I like him now. I also like John Bolton Newt Gingrich but don't think they'd have the necessary support. I honestly don;t know enough about the other GOP candidates but I will definitely vote for one of them over B.H. Obama.

Who will be Obama's VP? He is definitely dropping Biden.

I can't imagine Bolton getting anywhere near any kind of support he'd need.
What makes you think Obama is dropping Biden? It'd be interesting if he dropped Biden and picked up Clinton.

Biden hasn't been the same since his brain aneurysms and I don;t think he's all there. Plus he hasn't been doing much to help the O message or cause. They needed an old white guy for the 08 first black guy election, but now that its happened and its ok for a black POTUS, Obama could bring in anyone with better PR (even someone like Oprah(but she's also dropping in public opinion)). I thought Clinton would run again against O if his poll numbers continued to fall. I doubt she'll want to be VP.

P.S. you're right about Bolton.

+2 I'm one of the millions of apathetic voters. I could give a shit less who the fuck is running at this point as I see assholes on one side and douchebags on the other.

Unfortunately any time a third party candidate runs they get a laughable amount of votes and that's it.

I'd absolutely love it if someone ran for office that was like 'here's my record, this is what I've done right and what I've done wrong' and just put all the mud out there day one so the opponents and media wouldn't have anything to find out later.

I'm just sick of the bullshit....and the 90 billion fuckin' campaign calls.

Count me in for the Apathy Party. I always means to vote Apathy, but then on election day I couldn't be bothered to actually visit the polls. We need a candidate for the Apathy Party that we can get behind!

I've done alot of those as of late when going to vote(non-votes, such as voting for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck).

The one older guy working at the polling place I've worked at for the last 3-4 years for every primary and general election just kinda shakes his head and makes a comment with every vote for some shmoe who isn't officially on the ballot or one of the nonsense ones.

Personally though, it's me(and many others apparently)voicing my distaste for this shitty system by voting for 'none of the above'.

Am I the only one who would like a system where "None of the Above" is actually an option and the candidate is required to get a certain percentage of the vote to be elected to the office? Granted, there's finer details to be worked out...

Actually I would like it if they added 'none of the above' to the ballot, since it would save me all of 5 seconds worth of writing for each office I put that in the blank for.;)

Of course, we'd still be using the old metal voting machines here if the county hadn't had them crushed at a junk yard before realizing the electronic machines they bought might not be able to be certified for all elections after a year or two.

Dammit! Simpson's did it. I had no idea, and thought I was being clever all this time. DOH!
Yup, Futurama.
Ahh, that would explain it. Not a big fan of Futurama, but it's from the same people. Many thanks.
And if nobody reached this percentage?
Yeah, that's one of those "finer details" that would need worked out. ;)
