24Hr Walmarts to have DSLs available @ midnight?

I tried calling mine here in Blue Springs, Missouri, but the store just let it ring for three minutes. Anyhoo, are the 24 hour walmarts gonna put it out at midnight, or am I better off just waiting until the morning? I'd rather have it tonight so I can charge it while I sleep and play tommorrow before work.

I would say no. Some Wal-Marts sold theres by accident last week, and some just have no idea what it is.

The two somewhat near me are clueless about it, so I'd guess no. If one was closer then I'd stop by to have someone check the stock room.

I thought normally they didn't let new stuff go out of the door until 6am... unless they changed that.

I just got back from Wal-Mart with a DS Lite in hand!

I had to go through a couple of associates before I found one who could be helpful. He looked it up and tried to say that June 11th was the first day it could show up, not necessarily the day they'd have it in. I explained that it may be in the back and that I had heard from other retail outlets that Nintendo shipped they early and they were just held in the back till June 11th. So he disappeared into the back to look and emerged about 5 minutes later with an assistant manager and a DS Lite in hand. The manager watched to make sure the transaction would go through (interestingly enough, the register didn't ask for the serial number, which the manager found weird). And just like that I had my DS Lite. Well worth the trip to avoid getting up at the asscrack of dawn tomorrow.

Just got back with one. First walmart said they didn't have them or something. The second had them ready! I'm going to go play Metroid Hunters now.

Does the DS lite box have a place where the serial number is visible? The Japanese vesion did not.

no but it has the serial number in the box with a barcode.

I had no luck here guys. They didn't even have them in stock, something about a special UPS shipment at 1 pm later today.
