$25 HMV gift card when you preorder POP Forgotten Sands

I was walking by HMV today and saw that they're advertising a promo for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. You get a $25 gift card when you preorder the game for $10. I believe you only get the gift card when you purchase the game on May 18.

Makes the game $34.99, not too bad! Although Ubisoft releases tend to drop faster at retail than other publishers, but I'm sure you could buy it for $35 and turn it around for $40-$50 shortly afterwards.

my biggest mistake was buying prince of persia on release date (b2g1 2 xmas ago). within 4 months the game was 9.99-19.99 lewl

ubisoft's game drop so fast. i made the right choice to wait on AC2

lets say you beat it right away and trade it in within a few days of release? Will the EB credit + hmv credit outweigh the investment?

EB TIV might be like $30-20. You could try to maximize that with Power Trades towards Alan Wake, Trauma Team, Blur, ModNation Racers, Alpha Protocol or MorphX (never even heard of this last one), that might give you $45-30 TIV. Or go for one of those $49.99+ used games and get $20 on top of your TIV.

I'm not exactly sure about this game. I love the POP series, but I got burned by POP 2008. I enjoyed the game, but it dropped in price really quickly and that's a trend for Ubisoft games. Assassin's Creed II have had sales for a few weeks going for $40-30.
