25% off on all used DVDs, CDs, and Games @ wherehouse.com

Thanks, I had $100 dollars in credit just sitting idle. Got Siphon Filter Dark Mirror + Jeff Buckley Grace Limited Editon for $40 shipped (saved about $12.00).

Thanks for this! Finally picked up Harvey Birdman Season One and Futurama Volume Three for about $38. I was hoping for The Venture Bros., but who the hell is gonna sell that back anyway?

Oh and to answer the inevitable question, standard shipping is $2.95 for the first item and $1.00 each additional item. And it takes rather long.
Can the code only be used once per account? or is it unlimited?
Once.

How long it takes depends on where you're located. Used items are shipped from CA, and from where I am even Media Mail only takes about 3-4 days max. Of course if you're on the East Coast it'll definetely take a looong time.

How's the used stuff? Website says everything is complete, but I'd like to know from anyone here if this is true. I'd like to buy a used GBA game, but only if they are complete.

How do I know the used stuff I buy is of good quality?
Wherehouse.com has hundreds of thousands of used CDs, DVDs and video games in inventory at very reasonable prices. Every used item at Wherehouse.com is in excellent condition and is thoroughly inspected and includes all original elements (i.e. inserts, instructions, etc.). Plus, Wherehouse.com has a (30) day satisfaction guarantee on everything we sell to be free of defects. Our goal is for every customer to be 100% satisfied with their used product purchase.

They have always been complete for me, but sometimes the box will be in pretty shitty shape, sometimes not. Their DVD and jewel case games (PS2, PSX, Xbox, etc.) have always been just about mint for me.

hmmm... Used copy of Metroid Prime Hunters for $22.50 aint bad. Also NHL 2K6 for $15 is one of the cheapest 360 games I've ever seen for sale. Too bad it's NHL 2K6.

About 90% of the things I have purchased the disk and manual is in perfect shape. I even once received a game with the factory sticker still on. The two items in rough shape were both part of the same shipment and they refunded the money on both and didn't require me to send them back.

Shipping for me always takes forever since they send out used games from CA and I'm in Vermont. People on the west coast might get them faster. New games usually ship from Florida and I see them in 3-4 mail delivery days.

yeah the may not include case/manual pretty much kills all EB/GS deals for me now that GS bought EB the shared inventory and quality is at an all time low.

Not to mention when you do occassionally get a box and manual they are smeared w/ bubble gum, feces and stickers

Gamestop gets the gas face from me now. Screwed over too many times
For me it has, some items have taken over a week to get delivered from when the ship date was
I guess it's just what our perception of long is.

I don't see much you can really save on. Tax and shipping balance out the 25% you THOUGHT you saved. Not much of a deal when you can get it for the same price somewhere else any time you want.

Nobody is THINKING that they saved anything that they did not. Shipping is cheap at under $4, and Californians (like you and me) are consistently taxed. I realize that the deal ultimately means no tax and no shipping fee, but as a Californian that is taxed on nearly every purchase, I can appreciate when I don't have to pay for it.

Of course, you might be talking strictly about buying used games, in which case you'd be (generally) right about not saving money when they are available for the same price elsewhere. However, the DVD deals are not the same case. Seriously, good luck finding these deals anywhere other than second-party Amazon.com sellers.

Deepdiscountdvd and weekly sales at your local walmart, circuit city, and best buy. If you're looking for a specific movie that's harder to find, then maybe the coupon can help you get a slightly better deal.

Games, no.

Like I said, some people here think they're saving, but you aren't really saving much.

I went for some of the DVDs and CDs last time they did this, and it wasn't a bad deal. Some of the CDs run between $5-7, and the used DVDs I got were definitely well below any retail price I had seen them at. IIRC, wasn't it 30% off ALL items last time around? I might wait and see if they run one of those again.

BTW, if you really want to see people get screwed by "deals", wait for the TRU B2G1 and watch people buy $50 EA games that drop to $20 a few months later, when they announce the sequels.

I don't know what it was last time, but the last huge sale they had was 33% off.

Your kidding, right? So far I picked up Mega Man Maverick Hunter X used for $15, Gargoyles Season 2 for $17.xx, Aqua Teen vol 4 for $10.xx, and Fresh Prince season 2 for $10.xx. They even had Batman Beyond season 1 for about $10 after coupon, but I think it's gone now. Even with tax and shipping, those were probably the best prices on the 'net, and that's not even including that I used store credit to pay for them.

Like I said, hot ass deals on DVDs. Nice finds! You've inspired me to check for the WB Superman series.

I ordered on Thurs and my stuff just came in the mail (I live pretty close to the Wherehouse Distribution center). Perfect condition. I spent about $15 on the stuff I used to get trade in credit (Thank you Timesplitters PS2) and got about $50 bucks worth of stuff I really wanted.

If you use trade in credit you aren't taxed, so I saved another $4 bucks that way.
