$29.99 Used Games now $4.99 @ Hollywoodvideo

Hey guys first post here. So I'm at Hollywood video and I see a sign that I study forever. $29.99 used games now $4.99 or something like that. In disbelief I walk over to the used games section and see Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for $29.99.



I ask the guy "Is that sign over there correct? Is this really five bucks?" (Fingers crossed like no other) "Yeah all 29.99 games are. I'm fucking shocked because I have been waiting for it to go down to at least $20.00 before I get it for what seemed like forever. So I pay real quick in case it was untrue and get it for $5.31 with tax! So all used games in Hollywoodvideo are $4.99! Including a soon to be mine copy of Resistance 2: Fall of Man for PS3! For 5 bucks.



They have all sorts of games including PS2, PS3, Gamecube and Xbox/360. Made my week.

Wow, worst deal ever, you got ripped off my friend. It's only worth half that. However, if you posted in the HWV thread, it would be a much better find.
 
I went to a Hollywood Video tonight and saw nothing. Girl behind the counter said $4.99 was a Black Friday deal. I don't remember that on BF. I'll try another store in the morning.
 
I guess it was not a promo? More like any of our games that are $29.99 are now $4.99 for a limited time. Apparently the guy said that the sale started again this week because he had to ask the manager to make sure. So the only other game that I saw that was $29.99 was Resistance 2 Fall of Man for PS3 which I will pick up tomorrow for 5 bucks.



I might go to the next town over and see what kind of other games they have for the same sale. Oh and I bought that game today while going in there for the 5th time to see if they had MW2 for PS3 back yet. I'll post back tomorrow after I pick up Resistance 2. And how is Twilight Princess not worth at least 5 dollars?

THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD FOR THIS. IT IS THE OFFICIAL HOLLYWOOD VIDEO THREAD. IT HAS BEEN ON THE FIRST PAGE ALL DAY. IT WAS BLOGGED ABOUT YESTERDAY.

Well I got the link for the Official Thread in the beginning but someone in the third or fourth reply said it was over already so I didn't bother. I continued this thread because when I went in today they guy had to make sure the sale was still on because they had the same deals on Black Friday. Get it? So I was gonna help some CAG brothers out if they thought it was over.


Like I said first post here chill man haha. So now I'll post in the Offical one.

I was unaware that reading three posts suddenly gives you all of the information you needed.

Although it doesn't surprise me that it's hard to read through an entire thread.
 
Well i went there today. there was not even a single ps3 used game over there. In fact, i do not think they have any to start with. The deal is defiantly on though. I was really looking forward on getting Eternal Sonata and GT5:prologue.
