3 Rare games for decent prices

I got some games recently (in the past month or so) for some decent amounts.

Gitaroo Man (PS2): Used (game w/ generic case & no instructions) for $16.99

Rez (PS2): Used (w/ instructions & original case) for $29.99

Suikoden II (PSX): Used (w/ insturctions & original case) for $39.95

$86.93 + $4.35 (ME 5% sales tax) = $91.28

Not bad, eh?

No, I'm not. I have Suikoden II sitting right in front of me. It was $39.95 at a local game shop near by.

I've had these games for the past month or so, and I felt the same way about Gitaroo Man. I played Gitaroo Man for about a month and then sold it for $89.99 online. So, I'd say I got my money's worth Gitaroo Man as well. I still have Rez and Suikoden II though.

The suikoden 2 for that price is amazing, the rez is a good deal and the gitarro man is okay but the lack of case + instructions kills the collectors value.

I got Gitaroo Man and Rez from my local Gamestop, but I got Suikoden II from a local game shop (not a chain). Gamestop sells Suikoden II for $60 (if they have it).

Suikoden II has been $50 every time I've seen it at GS, and it is $50 on their site. How come you didn't get the GS membership, btw?

Really? They raised their B&M prices. I saw loose copy this summer for $39.99.

I checked into the prices at my local Gmaestop and the price for Suikoden II JUST FOR THE GAME IN A JEWEL CASE was $59.99 (on the website it says $49.99), but I called and checked it out. Maybe each one is different, but I know I could've got one for $59.99 at Gamestop (I took the cheaper route).

When I bought Rez & Gitaroo Man I did end up getting a Gamestop card for $10 as well. You get a 12-issue subscription to GameInformer & 10% off of all used stuff at Gamestops (until Oct. 2005 when my card expires).
