You can easily find a good 32" LCD for $550-$600. I think Best buy has an Insignia 32" LCD with 3 HDMI inputs on it for $579, if I'm remembering right. (And from what I hear, the Insignia TV's are made of unused parts from other larger manufacturers, so you'll still get a quality TV)
I think Westinghouse also has a new version of the LTV-32W out, which has 2 HDMI inputs as well as the ability to upgrade the TV's firmware with a USB flashdrive. I believe the thing is around $620.

Not too sure I want to go with Insignia again. The HD on mine looks crappy. Might be the fact that it's tube, but I don't know. Would you recommend that?
