360 Games that few people know about?

I love playing those games that few people know about but they often turn out to be great games like Earth Defense Force 2017. Anyone know of any more Hidden Gems?

Shadowrun is one of the most fun, innovative FPS games I have ever played. Too bad average games like Mario Galaxy get perfect scores, while this one gets destroyed by the press. You can probably nab this one for under $20

I had never heard of Overlord until reading about it on a message board a couple weeks ago (might've been here, but I don't remember for sure). I picked it up cheap and it's a fantastic game. Very amusing and fun gameplay that's similar to Pikmin, but much darker in nature.

Enchanted Arms was a pretty good RPG IMO. It might not have been better than Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon, but it was still good. People should give games that were rated 6-7 a chance.

I'm with you, man. I love EDF 2017. If I understood correctly, the U.S. version was a compilation of titles released in Japan. I would love to see a sequel here, but with online play.

I would have suggested "Wartech: Senko no Ronde, but it really isn't that good IMO (but to be honest, it's not a pick up and play game, so I need to read the instructions then try again)

I will suggest 2 sports titles that the majority of Americans will probably avoid but shouldn't:

Moto GP series from THQ
- Steep learning curve, but so rewarding one you get the hang of it. The sense of speed is practically unsurpassed by other racers. And graphics look like a live broadcast at times.

Winning Eleven/PES series from Konami:
- Absolutely puts EA's FIFA series to shame!!! My 2 brothers-in-law are total soccer fiends and addicted to the EPL. I introduced them to Winning Eleven over the Xmas holidays. Instant converts! Unfortunately they are so good at the game, that they regularly pwn me.

There is this one game...

An alien ring will destroy Earth if a one man recking crew cannot stop it.

Floating brains infest dead bodies and aliens shoot green laser guns at each other.

O, an a computer woman lives in your brain.

I think its called...Halo 3...

Na, I'm kidden. A great game that I have been enjoying lately is Viva Pinata. Seems pretty unknown among my circle of friends.

Although I'm not sure if it's considered a hidden gem, Pac-Man Championship Edition was definitely a surprise for me. I'm not sure how many have heard of it outside of the gaming circle. I know some of my non-gamer friends didn't know anything about it when I recommended it to them recently.

I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, but calling Mario Galaxy "average" is just plain silly.

I would consider myself a big Nintendo fan/fanboy and I think Mario Galaxy is pretty average too. I don't seem to share this opinion with the general population. With all the shit that gets released on Wii, it is no wonder Galaxy looks like a masterpiece.

As for a cheap hidden gem, I liked Quake 4 although I'm not sure how hidden or a gem it is.

When I was at a target in the Ozarks in Missouri I saw this $19.99 game with arcade games on it for the 360. It wasnt one of those Live Arcade ones either.

I cant find it on targets website. Anyone know what it is?

Pop Cap Arcade?

Overlord is great, I don't hear very many people talking about it. Lots of people know about Vampire Rain as "Crap" but I disagree. I like it. I also like the online for Monster Madness. The single player isn't very good in Monster Madness but the online is fun, In my opinion. You just have to find people to play it with you..

Tomb Raider: Legend. It didn't really sell that well, but was a solid Tomb Raider game that got clearanced REALLY fast.

I'll second (or eighth) Viva Pinata. It's a fun strategy game pretending to be a kid's game.

Nope, it's the third game in the series as far as I know.
It was released as THE 地球防衛軍 3 (THE Chikyuubouegun 3) here in Japan.
The first 2 games came out on PS2 as part of the Simple 2000 series.
I have yet to play the 360 game but I'm fairly sure it's a new title in the series.

Speaking of which, if you have the ability to play Japanese 360 games, お姉チャンバラ vorteX (Oneechanbara vorteX) is pretty damn fun.

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, i'm probally the only person who loves this game. It's like a next-gen version of Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

The multiplayer battles are awesome but so few people play and those that do are just looking for achievements :whistle2:(.

I used to be a feverish Nintendo fanboy (i'm talking for a couple decades!), but the Wii and Mario Galaxy really turned me off. That game wasn't that good.

I don't think the 360 has enough games yet to have any hidden gems. I've been aware of almost every release on the 360 since I've owned it. It wasn't until recently that games I had no idea about started popping up (Denied Ops, Frontlines: Fuel of War). The most 'hidden' game I have is Quake 4, and I wouldn't even really call that hidden because it was a big deal when it first came out.

And just for the record, I though Super Mario Galaxy was amazing.

I really enjoyed Gun. Not many people may know about it cause its a western and launch title, but I had a good time with it

Crackdown...yes it was sold with that Halo beta, but most people didn't play it and just got it for the beta. This game is really truly under rated and so much fun.

I picked that up also when the 25% off used 360 games Gamestop coupon was active, not sure when I'll be able to play it though with GTA currently occupying my time, but it does look great though

Most gamers are aware, but Crackdown is a very good game for the 360. It's probably pretty cheap now too

The Lego Star Wars games are pretty fun as well, no matter how old you are.
