So what are some good 360 games worth importing? I bought a japanese 360 to play Super Robot Wars XO but I need more to feel I didn't buy a whole system for one game. I'm debating Blue Dragon but I am going to try to wait until it comes out here. I have no interest in fighting games so if you suggest one I shall glare at you...with my mind!

Well you COULD try "Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage" or the new Idea Factory Sim. RPG.
Do NOT touch "Vampire's Rain".

Oh and I've heard "Project Slypheed" is suppose to be good.

Crow I'd also suggest getting all the ASIAN versions of Western games when they come out as they'll usually be cheaper and still be in English or have an English option.
I think you only got it for one game, doesn't every noteworthy japanese game come over to the US since XBOX is US oriented?
Pretty much. 360 isn't like the Japanese developed systems where many of the releases are held there for upwards of a year if not longer.

To the guy who said no games are worth importing, why are you playing Lost Planet, which came out in Japan before it did the states?

I think you may have more luck in the future with your JPN 360 though, as more asian developers are beginning to like the system.
Is Senko no Ronde coming to the US? If not, that would be one to get.
It is coming to the US. I think Project Sylpheed is too.

It wasnt worth importing since it came out here now was it :p

Like it was said earlier, any game thats worth it will see a US release. Sure you can get Blue Dragon and Lost Planet early, so what? Is it really worth owning the japanese system to play games a few months early?

What about people who like Idea Factory Sim. RPG's? Seriously anyone who says ALL the worthy Japanese shit is brought out over here on a system like the XBox considering the neglect of most 3rd parties to pay attention to publishing is deluded.
This ISN'T the Playstation where most worthy Japanese developed games get published, even the niche one's, get it right!

Well I love the whole Super Robot Wars series, though at the time I bought the system I thought this was a new game and not a remake of the Gamecube one. Still I enjoyed it.
was super robot wars that good that it convinced you to buy a japanese 360 in the first place?
thank YOU.

Thanks for the tip on the Asian games. That reminds me I did get the Asian version of Godfather when play-asia had it for $20 a while back. Haven't played it much yet.

Some of the suggestions sound good too. Spectral Force 3 definitely looks interesting.

As to buying games just to play them before they come to the US, that doesn't really appeal to me. If it is something I MUST play yeah, I might buy it early but I am not buying anything just to be the "first".

How about some of the quirky types of games we would never get over here, like that train sim and Mahjong. I've actually been eyeing a Mahjong game.

Well crow that "Convience Store XX" is another Sim. game though I don't know about it's quality.
As for shit we'd never get "Idolmaster" comes to mind. "Kengo Zero"is another one though I don't understand why since we got the previous. I just re-iterate my point that a lot of this is the problem of 3rd parties who idiotically ignore them while most on the PS were studiously brought over here. Part of this whole issue is either the main audience reflects the Western PC audience which is notoriously poor for bringing anything non-Western to it or 3rd parties think it is.
