360 headsets

I have the Turtle Beach X11's, and I misplaced a cable that came with it. It was, I think, a 2.5mm audio cable - one end was a right-angle, and the other straight. Now, I have a Joytech wired controller, and on the bottom there appears to be a 2.5mm jack, but to the sides two other slots. They are small, and I'm not sure what they're for. I don't think the MS brand wireless controllers have those.

Does the Joytech controller allow you to use a headset? Can I buy a cable at Radio Shack to hook up my controller to my X11?

The 2 little slots are on the MS controller too. They were used on the old version of the stock MS wired headset and also I think for chatpad functionality. You should be able to use your headset if you buy a replacement cable. One thing I don't know about is if that cable is mono or stereo.

The cable that came with my mix amp for the 360 chat is stereo. So maybe you want to get a stereo 2.5mm cable

When I misplaced my talkback cable for my Turtle Beach X11s, I ended up getting an off-brand replacement cable for 3 bucks on Ebay with free shipping. Works perfectly. I believe I read somewhere that you can't just buy any ol' stereo cable to replace it, but that might've just been a way for them to try to get you to buy the real one again.
