Ok, my launch era 360 got RRoD recently for the 2nd time. Fortunately I was still just barely covered for the RRoD error. While waiting for it to be repaired I picked up an elite since I have a use for my old anyway to leave at my parents house when I visit. The thing is the recently repaired old one is starting to have an issue where it flickers to a black screen for a second or 2 sometimes while playing a game. I'm sure this is not a good sign. My question is does the extra warranty time you get after getting the 360 back from a repair cover everything or just the particular repair they made (In this case the RRoD)?

I say just send it back, and report it as what happens. Honestly, if it does that it may be your cables, but I don't really know about that.

I say just send it back, it could be a problem on their part.

I think you get a 90-day warranty on the repair. When I recently sent in my launch console for repair in October, I discovered I could buy yet another extended warranty from MS. My "launch" console (actually the 4th iteration) is now under warranty until Jan 21, 2011.
