So, my 360 just got bricked by the GH2 patch download. I went onto MS's site and registered my xbox (which apparently I had not done before), and found that my warranty is still valid. When I called MS to fix my system, the rep told me that my warranty will run out a year from today... he didn't ask for any more info, so apparently it's a good idea to wait until you have a problem to register. Does anyone else have experience with this?
Also, there's an option to extend the warranty for 2 extra years for $50, which I thin I'll be getting as a safeguard.
