Hey all,

I just ordered a 360 through the Dell deal, and am wondering what the cheapest way to get it online is. I currently connect everything through a wireless router. Obviously the MS official router is too expensive.

With the original, I used to be able to play using the wireless card in my PC. Is there a similar way to do that with the 360? If not, what would you guys suggest?

Thanks to all in advance

It will work if you just connect a crossover cable from your pc to the 360 which i'm assuming you did before with your xbox.

It works just the same way...so if it work then, it will work now.

First of all its not a microsoft wireless router, its a microsoft wireless ADAPTER. It makes a big difference.

If you want to play online with wireless any Wireless ETHERNET gaming adapter should work. You can get one for pretty cheap. I got it for $20 off amazon.com from a 3rd party seller.

Ah, thanks for the correction, I mispoke (typed?). I may end up going that route, as I seem to remember not having the best connection through my PC, though if that was the PC's fault or my wireless router, I don't know.

Since you say yours works, would you mind telling me what kind it is? That may be the best way to hook it up after all.

cheapest way would be to hook up your wireless router/modem behind the TV that you will be gaming at. Wire the 360 in and use wireless for your PC.
