3DS Circle Pad Pro

It came out for RE:Revelations but when OOP soon after but it's getting re-released in June I think.
 
What do you mean June? I bought one today at GameStop. Mind you they only had a mere 2 that weren't on reserve lol. They just came in yesterday after like a 4 month dry spell.

He actually means July. Nintendo of America under produced these and will not be able to get more out for sale until the 1st week of July (per their website).

Any you find in the wild will be extremely YMMV and only at Gamestop as they were the exclusive carriers. Consider yourself lucky as there ins't a single Gamestop showing inventory in 500 miles of where I live.

Odd because pretty much ALL of the GS stores around me got them in the other day. So yes there obviously was another production run that has already started to trickle out well ahead of their original estimated timeframe.
 
OOPS... I stand corrected. After nearly two months of nothing it is sold out online (Still) but I have two stores in a 100 miles radius showing "low stock"
 
I was watching the gamestop website closely about once a week since April. They had a pre-order page up for it, and it was to be released July 3rd then it changed to May 7. So all gamestops should of had a shipment come in earlier this week.
 
hmmmm..... That is weird, all the GS around me suddenly have it in stock. I wasn't expecting this but I guess some good came out of this thread.
 
Was anyone else told that the stock Gamestop got in was for preorders only?

I don't do much business from Gamestop; except for their 3 or 4 good deals each year but I check their website frequently and never saw any mention about them taking preorders for these...

wondering if it's just my stores or what

Yea they told me it was preorder only. I am not a big fan of Gamestop. I just had to many bad experiences. But if they are the only ones that will have it then I have to suck it up lol

They had the circle pad pro for pre-order on the website for awhile. Pre-order dates were 7/3, then changed to 5/7. I guess they sold out very quick and I saw them had another pre-order up for 5/16, and now it shows not available.
 
It's just interesting because I pop into my local Gamestop everyonce in awhile to clearance hunt and I've asked about these before and they never mentiond anything about preordering. I still have one left over from when I bought a shipment through NOA so I don't desperately need one I just found it odd that they mentiond they received their stock but they were all claimed as preorders when I didn't think they were even taking preorders at my physical store.
 
Im currently playing RE Revelations w/out the circle control pad. I have no problems with the controls and am enjoying the game. Would the circle control pad make the game that much better? I'd rather put the $20 into other games.
 
From what I've heard, it does make it marginally better. Basically, you can move and shoot. I don't have one, as there aren't enough games that I'm interested in that actually take advantage of it.
 
I was hoping that the rumors of a dual analog version of the 3DS were true-- $20 does seem like too much for something that was an archaic design decision on Nintendo's part. The lack of an actual dual analog system is what's holding me back from buying a 3DS. That, and it hasn't been hacked yet (I don't wanna carry around 15 3DS carts with me...).
