3DS cover / case recommendations

i've seen some ppl on the train have the crystal cases that looks pretty nice, a lot of the unboxing vids on youtube seem to make it look worth the price. they avg about $9.99, the only 2 things that ppl said were bad about it were:

- some thought the plastic was too cheap, but it's $9...spend more and get the metal one.

- apparently moisture can get underneath the case due to sweaty hands which of course can be cleaned by taking off the case and wiping it with a hanky.

Walmart has it at their online store and you can ship to store for free pickup. I'm thinking of getting one myself. here's the walmart link and decide for yourself.

I honestly think the ones from Club Nintendo are awesome. I have both colors. The're simple and don't add much if any bulk. The only downside is they're not really great for bringing extra games or accessories.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're just looking for a case, any old camera case from goodwill or clearanced from Best Buy will do.

If you need something specific like something that will clip on your belt with a carabine or however you spell it, look for clearanced DSi or DS Lite cases at Best Buy. I got 2 for both of my 3DS' for $6, and they hold games, stylus', and you can halfway put it in the system in the case and play it from there!

Sorry guys, I cleaned out the ones in Coon Rapids, MN, but I'm sure they're available if you look. Gamestop doesn't have anything good in terms of cases.

okay, so a few things some ppl might have known/may not have known.

Rocketfish is actually Best Buy's accessory brand so when they say, "best buy exclusive" it's because...well, yeah.

The Carry All Foilo Case is much smaller than it appears in the pictures, in fact it's about the size of netbook (only not as wide). At first glance you're like...that's it? It's not really the highest of quality but keep in mind it's on sale for $9.99 ($14.99 MSRP). It holds your charger, a bunch of games though I'd never feel comfortable putting game in the pockets since it doesn't really protect it from the elements, and it has straps for your stylus. The folding case has a docking station that lets you snap in your 3DS so you can watch netflix etc...however if you have normal to large sized hands, it's actually very comfortable to play most types of games. Any game you need to use the LT/RT buttons however might be challenging since they're arent as accessible. (Starfox and SFIV might be difficult)

It does fit in your briefcase, in your hobo or tote bag, backpack decently, it's comfortable when you sit on the bus and play, it's just the overall coverage of what it actually protects that seems lacking. If it completely enclosed your 3DS and contents more like a portfolio case w/a zipper or strap I'd say it's a keeper or a decent buy for $5-$6. Unfortunately it seems like to cut costs they literally cut some of the material out so it appears more like a folding wallet or cheap trapperkeeper (for those that ever had one).

I'll most likely be returning it though and just getting a crystal protective case and a camera bag since it won't protect the sides of your 3DS while it's resting in the case from pens, change, or other articles.

Hope that helps anyone interested in this product.
