not so close friend is selling a 3ds with no charger and pokemon black for 100$. It turns on but unsure of risk that something is wrong. What do you guys think jump on it now and hope?

It doesn't work, so pass. Sounds like they're passing off their frustration with the system to you, and trying to get what they can.

No it turns on and DOES work, but mlaybe theres a prob im unsure about. Would you buy a charger before hand? It seems to good to be true.

If it does work, then buy it (check for scratches/condition first). They may be hard up for cash. Getting a charger shouldn't be too expensive/difficult.

Yeah its a bit weird that it comes on still, guy must not have played it very much. Thanks for advice.

Did a quick search on Google and chargers are as low as $6. You could easily break even with the charger selling it used on eBay or something.

Oh I was going to keep it, waiting for more games to come out tho.
