I wouldn't mind picking up Crimson Sea for $5. But I don't think my BB has any of those games. I'll have to remember to look for them on my next trip though.

To answer your question, they most likely ARE good in-store. Now the real challenge is actually finding any of them. Best Buy maintains a notoriously slim stock when it comes to games. If a game didn't come out in the last three months and it's not a Greatest Hit, good luck finding it.

I've learned in the past that BB online prices don't exactly sync up with the B&M prices. Look at the Donkey Konga extra bongos -- $5 difference.

yeah, but i remember a RotTK VII or VIII at one of my BBs, and i've always been interested in the game, just never played it. so i'll give it a chance.

Cool, I'm meeting someone from craig's list to get a Palm Pilot Cradle for a buck, a few blocks away from BB, will report back on what i find.

According to the BB website RotTK VIII is available at all my local stores.

I think they're full of shit, but before I go running I'll check. I won't be able to report back for several hours though.

How do you check your store when it is out of stock on the site? When I do a search for Crimson Sea it doesn't come up in the results.

EDIT: Woah, how did my post appear before TC's post that was made before mine? Looks like the server experienced a time change?

Maybe for Phantasy Star Episode I & II it's worth it, but my BB most likely doesn't have it. also, the people that work there are jerks. Nothing to good any way.

Edit: Strange, my post should have been after The_Continental's. Must be those hiccups that Cheapy said we might experience.

I think that when a game is OOS on the website it lists them in stock in stores oi matter what. Their way of tricking you into actually visiting their B&M.

Unfortrunately when you attempt to check store availablity, it only tells you the closest stores. It is not actually checking store inventory.

It's not designed very well at all.

Romance, Crimson, Phantasy Star are worth getting, but I doubt my store still carries them. I'll get my friend to check for me since he works near BB.

You guys might be reading their site wrong. If a store has grey text, it's not in stock. If it has black text and you can add it to your cart for store pick-up, it is in stock. Silly CAGs. ;)
