Barnes & Noble has a coupon code X8X9X3K for 40% off 1 item when you pay with a Mastercard.

Expires 12/31/07

Tried to get the Spiderman BluRay Trilogy, but it didn't work for DVDs, it may only work for books...I'm ordering Assasin's Creed Limited Edition Strategy Guide with that code...that is $19.99 (non-member price), brings it down to $11.99...but since it's

I can't get this coupon to work. Need to buy a few textbooks too, so any help is appreciated.
 
When you enter the code, it will say it's not valid, until you enter your mastercard CC number, then update. It will automatically deduct 40% from the most expensive book
 
Now technically a Playstation 3 CONSOLE isn't a GAME, so maybe it works? :lol:

I'm sure there's a graphic novel I need, but I don't keep very good track of what number I'm on so I'd probably end up buying a duplicate or something.

I just tried to use it with a PS3 console - no dice. I was hoping it would fall through the cracks of what is deemed "acceptable."

Just what I needed -- picked up a $70 book for 30 and change after the coupon code and BN membership discount.
 
Went ahead and finally picked up The Essential Calvin and Hobbes for $63, since everyone has ignored it on my wish list the past 2 Christmases. I doubt I'd ever find it any cheaper. Thanks OP!

You do know about them with Barnes & Noble - their coupon codes never apply to video games because they don't actually sell video games; they subcontract Gamestop to do it.
 
Nice -- picked up STAR WARS VAULT for $27 total after tax -- it's on sale at $42 ($12 under Amazon) in the first place, the coupon brought it down even more obviously.

Great deal -- this is a jam-packed "memorabilia vault" with text, 2 CDs and other goodies. Here's a review (sounds great for STAR WARS junkies like myself ;):

Ordered a book for school and got a net of about 9 bucks off (12 off the price with 3 tacked on for shipping). Not bad as it lowered it below Half/Amazon levels

Thanks for the tip! I didnt know this existed and after looking at it and seeing all it came with, I ordered one for $27.16 with expedited shipping. This beats Amazon and definitely ebay prices. Cant wait for it to come. Thanks again.
