Yeah, it took pretty damn long to list all of it. I have some more dvds to throw up, but they can wait. Thanks for the bids by the way. :D

No, I don't combine shipping. The reason being is that my auctions all (for the most part) start out at a low price (99 cents). Everyone puts the price & shipping into the equation when they buy something on ebay or online in general. If someone will only spend $10 on an item, they could really care less if the item was $1 and the shipping was $9 or vice versa, as long as they got a good deal at $10. My shipping pays for the shipping and handling fees, the paypal fees and the ebay fees (if I get anything else from it, it's a little extra my way). If everyone waits to the last second and gets a good deal on my stuff by winning a lot of auctions at 99 cents, then gets combined shipping, I would lose a huge amount of money. Basically, my auctions are already giving good deals, but the better deal you get from my auction, the more I get screwed. 90% of these games have never even been played and all are in brand new condition. Anyways, I could just start all of my auctions at $5 and have $5 shipping and then offer combined shipping. While that would make some people happy just because the "combined shipping" wording is there, it would just raise my ebay fees.

Sorry for the long reply, I just wanted to answer your question fully and maybe tackle a few future questions you might have (while defending my stance).

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

It would be nice to at least get a break on shipping. If you would combine shipping, I would bid on a lot of those items but as it stands, I'll probably only hit one of them.

You'll probably combine these on your end. Two $20 games with full shipping to the same bidder will net you an additional $3 or $4 in the end.

But it doesn't really matter. eBay is big enough that losing a few bids means nothing as they'll just be replaced by someone else.

But I could just as easy combine the shipping and start the auctions off at a higher starting price. I could even have free shipping on all of my items and have an even higher starting price. It just so happens that for the final value fee, ebay doesn't charge you for your shipping fees. So they take away less money from the seller at the end.

I could see if I had high starting prices and high shipping rates, then I'd just be trying to milk everyone like most of the people on ebay. But seeing how that's not the case, I don't see much of a problem. So for me, combined shipping is just a phrase that buyers like to see to make them feel better about their purchase, whether it's cheaper in the end or not. It's just like stores marking something at $2.99 instead of $3, most customers think they're getting a better deal because they see that 2 instead of a 3.

The bottom line is that I lose A LOT of money on these auctions and like it or not, I am fair about it. Greedy buyers just want stuff for free and don't realize that the seller has to lose more and more the more you want it for less and less.

I guess I just don't see people factoring in the shipping costs when they bid. But I don't sell as much as you, (in fact I haven't sold in a few years. I don't even know what eBay fees are like now.)

And I probably shouldn't even ask but could you cut a shipping deal on SMT: Nocturne given that it's probably going to end pretty high? 8-[

Edit: Fawk! Missed it anyway.

Who doesn't calculate the s&h cost when buying anything? That's a dumb statement and if it were true, then there would be no reason to argue with me about combined shipping (seeing how that would be calculating the shipping costs).

As for SMT N, are you the high bidder? If not, why do you care? Is $5 shipping that expensive? I'll answer for you, no. Not when it comes to sellers on ebay, it's about average. Plus, my costs are never hidden. If noone likes it, don't bid.

Thanks for bringing more negativity to my thread, more reason why myself and a lot of others have left the CAG community.

I consider shipping, sure, but I don't absorb it into the final cost of the item. If I'm bidding on a $50 game, I bid assuming the final bid will be $50 and consider shipping extra. I definitely pay attention to high shipping and $5 is very reasonable for a single game. However $10 for two games, I believe, is not.

But that's your game. I said earlier, I haven't sold in years so I don't even know what eBay and PayPal are pulling anymore.

I was asking for a deal on SMT because I planned on bidding on it and I knew it would end at least $40+. I missed it though as I was busy this afternoon. There's really no reason to put up a defense for it.

I can't claim to be active in the social side of CAG but I have noticed a lot of people saying exactly this and most of the time I don't think it's warranted. I don't see my posts as negative - I was simply trying to understand why and try to get you to see my opinion. I basically said if you combined shipping I would bid on more items. That's it.

Now for the condescending part - you can't seriously claim you've never asked for something contrary to what a CAG, eBay seller, or anyone else said.
