$5 off $50 @ YesAsia

That's not a coupon. They'll give a $5 coupon towards next purchase if you place an order for over $50.

However, their retail prices are usually better than Play-Asia, NCSX, or Lik-Sang. OK for the cheap but very impatient gamer.

I wouldn't say. I think their prices and services are way better than cdjapan's. Sometimes Yesasia has some good clearances on some items. Last year I bought some old SPEED CD's [Japan versions] for less than $18 each. I got My Story in SACD for less than $30 a little while ago. The $5 coupons with over $50 orders has gotten me overseas versions of Japanese CD's for around $7, and their shipping has gotten much better

[sighs happily knowing there's more to life than video games]

I love yesasia.

I got my copy of Ouenden from them for ~$8 cheaper then anywhere else. The shipping took about 1 1/2 weeks which wasn't to bad. It gave me a chance to finish Castlevania DS at least.

apparently, you can buy a gift certificate to pad up your order to 50 dollars, and you will need to make another purchase to use the coupon anyway.
However, it would seem strange that they would do this...anyone try this?

Yes, I've done it. You can pad orders up over $50 with a gift certificate to get the free shipping and you'll still get the rebate.
