Amazon has the pre-order pricing for the Xbox 360 version of 50 Cent Blood on the Sand at $49.99:

I initially thought this was one of those pre-release price drops given the state of the economy and the nature of the title, but BB and GS still list it at $59.99, and Amazon lists the PS3 version at $56.99, so it's more than their usual $3 discounts. Comes out next week.

Hmmm, that's a good price, but unsure about the game still...

I am curious as to what fellow CAGs think of this game....

Personally, it might turn out to be decent. But right now, it's a rental for me.
 
ugh the storyline on the game is maddeningly ridiculous, he gets paid with a diamond encrested skull for a concert in the middle east and has it stolenand is fighting the assailants to get it back, or something very close to that. The graphics and gameplay are supposed to be good but I just dont know. Maybe rental. Price pre release is good though

IMO i think whoever buys this game should just like....not buy this game.....i wouldnt even rent it.. but thats just me. some might like it, but its not for me
 
game could be fun, but the 49 price point might be a bad sign....maybe the developer is getting word reviews are going to be weak.

i played it today....its basically the club with 50 cent and it seems kinda out of place when 50 is stabbing a guy with a knife in the chest, the controls are solid but after an hour and at mission 4 i kinda said meh.....

thought i'd tell you i rented it and the game is alot of fun i was looking to pick up the soundtrack and saw the game was discounted on the 360 to $50

Watch/Read reivews (I read IGN). Mediocre scores. From what I see it has a few glitches and no replay value. It's a rent for me.

You want a worthwhile game head over to BestBuy and get mercs 2 for $10. Would never spend $50 on a shooter (unless it's COD)

Seriously, how stupid are people. A game relates to someone in the hip hop industry and you have to automatically assume they are all ignorant idiots? Every freaking time this game is mentioned some idiot posts something stupid like this. Who cares if the plot is weak or even a little silly. It isn't any more unrealistic then a guy defending the planet from aliens, or some dude with a big ass sword that may, in fact, be a woman. Don't immediately label a game you know nothing about because the guy raps.

This game actually looks pretty good. Lots of gun play and hand to hand combat. Reminds me quite a bit of The Club, if any of you remember that one.
 
After looking on metacritic this game isnt doing too shabby...the premise is RETARDED, but...I think it is worth at least a rental from what I have read

not buying this game on account of false advertising. the game is clearly labeled 50 cents but when I add it to my cart is shows as 50 dollars. Classic bait and switch... shame on you amazon.
