judyjudyjudy: Dobutsu Bancho (translation: Animal Leader) is the Japanese version of Cubivore. I haven't played it in a few years, but no, it's not text heavy compared to most games. And most of the text is very superfluous; a cockamamy story to an otherwise straightforward game. The only tricky part is using the table in the menu, which tells you your creatures stats and evolution progress. Luckily there is a great guide on GameFaqs.com that translates the table.

Everyone else: Sorry, I really did check each of your lists, but I did not see anything of interest. Surprisingly, everything I want is on my want list.
