If you are thinking of getting a PS3, 80gb version, its a good idea to get it now bc I just came from Best Buy and saw a stack of boxes of the system but unbundled without Motorstorm. I knew it would happen eventually but didnt know they were already out there and that they were phasing out the Limited Edition set.

I didn't ask what it meant. Is the price for the unbundled 80GB 499.99 too?
 
At $499 with no extra game included, it makes more sense to just buy the 40gb unless you absolutely need some sort of backwards compatibility.

Any word on when the DualShock 3 is going to be bundled in?
 
has anyone else seen these? i am just wondering how much longer LE 80gb are going to be around, or what might be coming next...
 
I just brought a 80GB PS3 LE with motorstorm thursday and there was still like 6 bundles of the 80GB LE there. There were no 80GB's that didn't have Motorstorm with them.

I'm thinking all new consoles sent to stores will be unbundled, for after Christmas.

I have yet to see an unbundled 80GB, but I expected it to happen. The 40GB will probably be unbundled too after Christmas.

Man I thought you were gone for good. Yeah I anyway I am glad a got a bundled one, but I wish it came with a different game. Motorstorm just isn't my type of game.

It's a pretty good game, but if you don't like it you should sell it on ebay or trade it with somebody here.
