I saw this deal for Best Buy.
Model number tv: PN50C490B3DXZA.
2 Glasses: SSG-2100 AB
PS3 or 360 version of COD Black Ops
$50 to spend on movies, at time of purchase only.

Is this a good tv? Regarding it's 3D capabilities. Seems to me it's the cheapest 3Dtv deal out there, is it as good as the higher end tv's 3D? Like Sony Bravia or Samsungs 240hz LED ones. I have a 73 Mitsu 1080p 120hz 3D DLP how does the 3D of these compare?

Also are these good glasses or are there better ones that would work with this tv? I'm gonna maybe need a couple more, hopedully ones that would work with both the samsung and mitsu? Idk much about anything 3D.

And does anyone know for 3D blurays can the ps3 play them fine or do I need a samsung bluray player? I also was thinking of getting the samsung shrek 3d starter pack, I didn't notice what glasses those came with but could I play those blurays on my ps3 because they are samsung exclusive or does that only concern the tv model? Like I said I don't know much, I just want 3D for the Rose Bowl, On Wisconsin! Ha wish it was shot in 3D though, I mean come on espn the fiesta bowl over the rose? Lame.
Any opinions and help would be appreciated, I think for what I want this would be perfect, sorry no links, it's in the weekly video game ad in deals forum.

The PS3 can play 3D Blurays. Sorry couldn't answer any other questions.
 
The glasses most likely are only going to work with the Samsung as there is no universal standard among manufacturers yet. Also the Ps3 will play 3d blu's including Shrek but at the cost of Lossless audio during 3d playback not a big deal for everyone but for some people it is. The TV your looking at also isn't going to support full 1080p 3d so if your Mitsu does the 3d effect may not be as good as you already have, also bigger is usually better for the 3d effect.

You wont notice a difference on most TV's under 50" or so unless you sit two inches away from the screen.

Samsung and mitsu share glasses. Samsung 3d glasses are just mitsu ones with samsung labels on them. Your mitsu will need a transmitter though. PS3 is the best blu ray player out there, 3d or not. I'd hold out for the pn50c680 or pn50c7000 both of which I've seen around 1k with bundles.
