This has game rentals so thought it might go in this forum.

Got a mailer from Blockbuster today. Rent one movie or game for 99 cents. Three coupons came on the mailer. Expiration date of 8/22.

Found a host for one of my three coupons. If there's high demand we can do the other two.

I recommend downloading and printing from MS photo Editor for exact size. Laser printer works best!

how do u get meilers from Blockbuster? do you have to sign up @ their website? b/c i get email from them from time to time and i USED to get mailers...but i havent gotten one in a while :(
 
I'm on Blockbuster's mailer but I didn't receive this yet. I received a rent one movie/game get one free rental pass from Blockbuster that expires on July 31 a few days ago but that still is not a good deal for me. I'm waiting for the 99 cents per movie/game coupon from either Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. So when did you receive this 99 cents coupon Admiral Ackbar? Also I'm on Blockbuster's email and I got about 3 99 cents movie/game rental coupon around May but I haven't gotten any coupon after that.
 
I have no clue how I got it. I don't even have my own card. Have a family card registered to another address.

As for the coupons I just got them today. They had coupons like this before posted all over FW. But thoise coupons were movie only. These are for both movies and game rentals.

Don't have a scanner or I would scan one in. I'll try to scan them at work tomorrow.
 
Will the coupon scan work when more than one people use it? Please post coupon when you had scanned it. I'd love to rent some new games with that. Thanks in advance.
 
Man, I never get anything from Blockbuster except their rewards mailer. Wow, free "favorites" rentals, whoopee.
 
If someone is willing to host tonight I'll email one of the three coupons I received as a jpg. Send me a PM. I just used it twice. Once at the Blockbuster in Newark, DE and one on Rt. 40. So I guess it can be used nationwide.

As an aside, it's been awhile since I've been in blockbuster. I was using netflix for the past six months, and I just quit that. Borrowed the family blockbuster card.

When the fuck did a movie rental become $4.30! That's nearly five friggin dollars! I almost had a heart attack when I saw that on the board behind the counter. It's friggin' unbelievable. Who the hell rents movies at that price? When I was using netflix I would get about 20-25 movies a month for $30 bucks. That's just a little over a dollar a rental.

Blockbuster prices are insane.
 
if u want just as good of a deal.. use www.movielink.com every day monday thru thursday they have a .99 cent or less movie rental of the day... today is MIB, others recently have been the Matrix Triology, gothika, scary movie 3, peter pan, torque, 2 fast 2 furious.. and a bunch more...
 
I get things from Blockbuster every once in a while. They recently sent a card for unlimited movie rentals for $1.99 until the end of July. Not too bad since that's about half off the usual price.
 
I got those coupons today also, I was planning to go to blockbuster tomorrow anyway, so this helps alot. Do blockbuster accept photocopies?
 
I'm not so sure if they'd accept copies of the coupon. I remember years ago when someone scanned a coupon for a free game or movie at Hollywood Video. People started to sell them on Ebay and Hollywood Video corporate noticed it and started to notify all locations to stop acception coupons that are photocopied. So don't be surprised if you get turned down if you're printing this coupon
 
MS photo editor comes on all windows xp machines I think. Download the picture. Right click and then edit. It shouldn't take up the whole page. Just a small corner. Don't have my ruler on me but should be about 4 inches by two inches.

As for using it, I printed these on a color laser printer at work, cut them out, and have used them multiple times. Just make sure you have a good print. It even scanned without error.
 
I've used six coupons. I have three twice. I have had absolutey no problems.

I'm not saying that you won't necessarily get rejected. But the guys behind the counter at blockbuster aren't necessarily Sherlock Homes.

If you have a good quality color print there shouldn't be a problem.
