A couple of Nintendo 3DS giveaways

I posted about these in another thread, but it seems to be dead so I'll just repost here.

Nintendo 3DS Gamer is giving away several Nintendo 3DS handhelds. All you have to do is sign up for their mailing list and like their Facebook page. At certain fan thresholds one unit will be given away. They're currently at 2,113 fans, and the first unit will be unlocked at 3,000.

ToonBarn is doing a similar giveaway, but every 100 fans unlocks a unit. In addition to liking their Facebook page, you also have to register for their site, leave a comment with your ToonBarn user name and Facebook name, and hit the "Like" button on the site's article which I unfortunately can't link to at the moment. Currently at 651 Facebook fans and 207 page fans.

Just wanted to get the word out and hopefully speed up the process for both.

Important! In addition to "liking" their facebook fan page, you ALSO have to "like" their contest entry. Many, many people are skipping this fourth step. You have to comment in the first link with your ToonBarn and Facebook ID. Four steps is a lot for one contest!

Just a heads up to anyone entering the ToonBarn one. Entrants need to like both the Facebook page AND the article itself. Last time I checked the article only has 63 likes. It needs to get to 100 likes before the first 3DS handheld gets raffled off.

The thing I don't like about the Nintendo 3DS Gamer one is how slowly it's progressing due to the high thresholds. I'll still keep an eye on it just in case, but getting up to 50,000 fans is going to take a ridiculously long time.
