so i walked into a gamestop near me today and near the front door there was a cardboard box on the floor. On it it said "FREE - TAKE ONE!!!" I glanced inside and noticed the kojima fox among the demo discs.

So I made out with 4 sealed copies of Metal Gear Saga 2.

Not the best haul ever... but nothing like this ever happens to me so i got pretty excited.
 
Good stuff man... I don't think these are going to be anywhere near as rare as part 1 but you never know. Plus, you can't beat the price!;)

Anyways, what is this about volume 1, and how do you get it?

A bonus documentary DVD video titled Metal Gear Saga Vol. 1 was bundled with pre-orders for Subsistence in North America and with the European Platinum reissue of Snake Eater released in Germany on March 23, 2006.[71][72] The disc includes a five-part, 30-minute featurette about the entire Metal Gear series interspersed with an interview of Hideo Kojima, as well as trailers for various current Metal Gear games.[71][73]
 
Keep an eye out for the MGS4 LE art books as well. The one they gave me when I picked up my copy had some printing issues (stuck together, small tears) and when I went in the next day to buy a RF adapter I asked for an extra and he handed me one no questions asked. Either they have a lot of extras or he recognized me from my monthly visits. I'm thinking the former.

Steer clear of the one near Target dammit, as that has been my main source for free/reduced price stuff over the past couple of years.

The manager used to be the one who worked at the Siniawa Plaza store a couple of years ago, but then he was switched to the Steamtown location and finally(once all of the employees were fired or quit), the Target one.

I'm just glad that in my travels, I haven't bumped into Steve Bennett again(the GS DM for this area), since he REALLLY doesn't like me cause I'm a major devil customer who only comes in for free or next to free shit.
 
I did not realize the Saga 1 had such a great value. I have two copies from my days at Gamestop. It is an interesting watch, if you have the time.
 
Is Saga 2 an interesting watch for Metal Gear fans? I didn't get one when I had the chance, and now I'm considering buying it somewhere.
 
I actually made a purchase at Gamestop, but it was along the same lines so I figured I would save a thread and post it here.

Gamestop is having their Buy 2 Get 3 free on any movies(DVDs, Blurays, HDDVD) Most of the time they only have DVD's so it's not that amazing. However, today my little Signal Mountain outside of downtown Chattanooga GS had quite a few blurays.
