A good quality headset?

I was wondering if someone could recommend a good quality headset? I plan to use it to talk to friends over skype, plus use it for rosetta stone (for whatever reason my current mic circa 2002 doesn't want to play nice with rosetta). Thanks for any help.

I've been using my Halo2 headset plugged into my 360 controller plugged into my PC. A bit of a round about setup, but it worked with what I had laying around.
