A (probably) really dumb question about Goozex

CAGiversary!
From my understanding, with Goozex when a trade is accepted a shipping label is sent for you for printing and all ya do from there is stick in on and send it off. My question is: when and how does paying for shipping factor in?

Don't worry, Goozex pays for the shipping. Its encrypted on the printing label

In reality, the sender pays for the shipping at the post office (when they ship the game) or they use paypal shipping

Just place the game under your pillow and the underpants gnomes will take care of shipping the item. Noone really knows how the system works, my advice is to not worry about it and enjoy the games!

you pay for the shipping. the label is just for your convienence. recently goozex added the ability to buy postage straight through the site and print the label from home, but you have to know the weight of the game. generally i think most video games are a little under 2 ounces.

No way is it 2 ounces. If you throw a complete game (case + manual) in a bubble envelope -- it's more like 5-6 ounces for the majority of games, with some at 7 or 8. If you're going to be trading a lot, a $20 digital scale will be well worth the investment.
Don't use goozex shipping if you have a paypal account, you pay about an extra $1. If you use paypal shipping it's cheaper.
Isn't paypal shipping only for sales made directly through paypal, and not goozex?

Yeah, if you're sending the game, you have to pay for shipping. Just get a cheap food scale (or spend a bit more and buy a postal scale on ebay). The above poster was right, in a padded envelope most games are 5-6 ounces.

I've not sent out a game since goozex started offering the labels direct through site. I was using paypal shipping before and most games were $2.20 or so to ship out. But it sounds like the goozex is a bit more, so use the paypal link given above. You can use it for anything you ship, goozex or otherwise.
