Now I really dont get many private messages, but lucky enough for me I was a recipient of a very special private message and I just wanted to share it with everyone.

It is nice how the Vs board is like a family that sticks together through good times and bad. PAD I just want to let you know that I am thankful for your heart filled message. Though I hate to disappoint you with the fact that I am not the person who complained about your title, it was probably some other crazy liberal trying to kill America. I know right now your eyes are filling up with tears, but save those tears for another person. There is someone out there that this message should be sent to and you should stop everything you are doing and find this person. I am flattered you thought it was me, but you were wrong, as usual. So as you delicately put "have fun ridding the short bus to school" sherlock. Oh yeah and stop bitchin that someone changed the title of your hate filled attacks and have a nice day.
 
You know Ikon, I don't believe you. That's okay though, if you can't admit to being a Midol swilling bitch I'm sure no one else here can either.

Proof speaks for itself, moderators showed up to edit posts twice, both within the last two days. Both with titles that you vehemently complained about. Do I care if I'm wrong? Nope. I know you're still.... a Midol swilling bitch.
 
I was waiting for the day that this board would be used for private attack threads.

Mods also shouldn't be messing with the messages here unless they are going to go through every single thread, most of which are liberal hate speech and rants, as opposed to just pad's threads.

I don't want to join in on the namecalling, but PAD, your incessant insults are just as inane as someone complaining about a topic title. Since he's obviously not responding (be it from "fear" or simply because he's not at a computer) it seems like you're the one still in the underoos, unable to accept that you made a mistake and someone else contacted a mod, thereby trying to detract attention from that fact through childish insults.

Since I'm probably going to incur the wrath of Reagan, I'll just leave it here, and forget I ever read this thread.

Buffalo's not so bad, it has a certain charm, a decent music scene, the people are nice, elmwood/delaware is a decent way to waste a few hours (I have a few places I always stop) and its the easiest city to drive around I've ever seen, due to its absence of traffic. The decaying remains of a once bustling city are appealing to me. Then again, it's simply a stop between toronto and boston to me, or a place to go to avoid high canadian prices. I hated it at first, but I've developed a soft spot for it, especially after learning about its history (and the fact that I'm a huge difranco fan hasn't hurt) and visiting it multiple times. Maybe if I lived there it would be different.

I stand by what has already been posted, you may think it was me who complained but you are STILL wrong. I have no idea why you continue to piss and moan about the same thing over and over again. All you have to do is make fairly solid points and PAD will always shut up and cower in his little corner. Notice how he's almost NEVER attacked me except for when I screwed up that link and then he kept the edit up to make sure everyone would notice. You see I'm like a Clinton with less mistakes and PAD HATES it that he can't call me on most shit. I just know he's seething under his skin whenever he reads a post where I disagree with him.
So yeah follow my example and you'll shut PAD up pretty quick. Seriously it's quite amusing when you see it happen.

PAD's over the top too often, sure, but in his defense even when he posts legitimate topics he often gets flamed for no viable reason. Not to be a prick, but I've seen the things he says twisted around and taken out of context by others on this board, just to destroy his credibility.

I'm not saying that it's only the liberals on the board that do this. What I am saying is that just because PAD doesn't respond to every "brilliant" rebuttal to his posts, it doesn't make him some idiot "cower[ing] in his little corner." When any response that one makes, regardless of its validity, will ultimately be ridiculed anyway, what's the point?

Sarang, the reason I don't respond to you and so many others on this board is simple. I'm the only conservative that posts on a semi-regular basis. I know you find this hard to believe but I don't have the desire or time to rebut every idiotic thing you and wonder bitch say. It isn't cowardice, it isn't that I can't refute your "brilliant" commentary, it's just that many people and statements aren't worth bothering with.

I guess it never occured to any of you sharper than thou minds that your insight and responses just aren't always worth the time or effort. You're either too ignorant to know any better or too inexperienced to have gone through enough in life to know you're wrong. Plus, being the only conservative that posts on a regular basis, all you do is throw slings and arrows at me like some kind of arch enemy figurehead. You take things out of context, you nitpick little points like gaming fanboys that accuse pulbications of bias, you talk about things which you really don't understand and get quite emotional about it.

I'm not here to pick sides or get involved in the situation in the least, but this is a pretty far stretch. You're just the most vocal Conservative, though Scrub is close behind. You're the face that's been attached to Conservative views at this site, same way any given President is the face attached to whatever problems our country faces during their term. I know it's not particularly fair, and I do feel that people gang up on you, but there is a reason for it. It's just not a very good one.

Also, to everyone, please keep Private Messages private. If something was said in a PM that really bothers you to the point that you feel the need to make a thread regarding it, just tell a Mod. I can't guarantee that we can change the matter, but it's a whole hell of a lot more efficient than this has turned out. Thank you for your cooperation on the matter.

PAD's last thread illustrates what I think is wrong with him in particular, the "I'm right, you're all stupid" logic he uses. That being said, we need more republicans. The posters used to be pretty even, but scrub (who really shouldn't be called conservative, I don't want to insult the rational ones) doesn't post much, more moderate ones such as elprincipe don't post much (though he did recently), and a bunch of others I can't remember don't post as much. I really would like more rational, or at least calm ones. If you think someones an idiot then prove it, don't resort to the same, dumb, jokes you've been using for the past year.

Agreed. Honestly it's kind of annoying I see the same flavor of Vanilla almost everywhere. I mean I know a Conservative who can see things fairly open-ended but when you hear someone like PAD it's hard not to get a bit jaded.
It would be nice to hear some words from a real Fiscal Conservative and not an apologist for Bush but as part of their said statement I want to hear nothing justifying Outsourcing on a widespread basis as part of sensible economics in the U.S.
Anyway as for PAD I still find it funny the only time you really went after me was when you could absolutely nail a screwup by me and that's all it was, I posted the wrong link.

See, I can see that if someone sends a PM with a prospective trade deal, then it should be kept private.

However if someone sends you a hilariously childish PM full of veiled threats, misogyny, and false accusations, then why can't you share the comedy with the rest of the board?
