Abortion Doctor Eats Fetuses: Quackzilla Believes It's Dietary Choice

CAGiversary!
Abortionist accused of eating fetuses Kansas City clinic closedas grisly house of horrors!

A Kansas City abortionist is out of business after investigators discovered a grisly house of horrors at his clinic – with fetuses kept in Styrofoam cups in his refrigerator and one employee accusing him of microwaving one and stirring it into his lunch.

The unsanitary conditions in Krishna Rajanna's clinic prompted legislative approval of new abortion regulations in Kansas, a bill that was vetoed by the governor. Rajanna's activities have reportedly been the subject of law-enforcement investigations for nearly two years.

ajanna first came to the attention of police in September 2003 when he called police to investigate alleged employee theft.

Detective William Howard of the Kansas City Police Department responded.

"I thought I had heard and seen every vile, disgusting crime scene, but was in for a new shock when I started this investigation," he would say later. Howard turned the matter over to the local district attorney and three state agencies.

Topping the list of horrors was an employee's account that she and others witnessed Rajanna "microwave one of the aborted fetuses and stir it into his lunch," as Howard recalled earlier this year when testifying before a Kansas House committee.

Rajanna denied the accusation. But he did keep fetuses in Styrofoam cups in the refrigerator along with food and drink.

"Dr. Rajanna lacked personal hygiene," testified Howard. "His hair was messy, hands dirty, and his clothing was wrinkled and stained. He put on old, used foot booties while we were there."

Howard testified the clinic was dark, dingy, had poor lighting and smelled musty. There were dirty dishes in the break-room sink and on the table, trash everywhere, and roaches crawling on the countertops. Howard was afraid to sit down.

Howard noted there were no hazardous waste containers anywhere. (An employee later testified Rajanna took home all contaminated, medical and biohazard waste for residential trash pick-up.)

As for the "procedure room," Howard's partner spotted dried blood on the floor and said the room looked "nasty."

Two dishwashers located next to the staff toilet served as sterilizers, according to employee testimony. Photographs show the toilet was bloody and functioned as a human waste disposal in the literal sense.
On Saturday, the State Board of Healing Arts voted unanimously to revoke Rajanna's license.

In March, a board inspector made two surprise visits to Rajanna' clinic. He reported the facility was unclean and that he found syringes of medications in an unlocked refrigerator. The inspector also reported finding a dead mouse in the hallway.

Rajanna said in his 10 years of performing abortions in Kansas City, no patient has complained about care.

Rajanna can appeal the decision to district court. He argued that he had not been given an opportunity to meet with the inspector to correct the deficiencies. But board members concluded that Rajanna's clinic represented a danger and said that as a doctor, he shouldn't have needed the board's prodding to keep a clinic clean and safe.

Board members also noted that Rajanna had been previously disciplined, in 2000 and 2001, for not properly testing his patients for their blood types and for improperly labeling medications. Also, in February, Rajanna signed an agreement to improve his clinic's conditions and paid a $1,000 fine.

With Rajanna's case pending, abortion opponents won legislative approval of a bill requiring abortion clinics to obtain an annual license from the Department of Health and Environment, hire surgeons as their medical directors and report patient deaths to the state within a day. The measure also mandated that the department set standards for equipment, medical screenings, ventilation and lighting.

But Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, an abortion-rights advocate, vetoed the measure, saying medical professionals – not legislators – should set standards.

I can't wait to hear how this is a Republican smear campaign against abortion doctors. The replies will be priceless.

Just out of curiosity, where does PETA stand on cannibalism?

Wow... that... :|

:puke:

How can you dare to make this attrocity a game for your political branding and mudslinging?

You are a pathetic human being on a multitude of levels.

That is some horrible shit. I believe in the choose to not have a child but to have that child eaten as someone's lunch is just plain wrong.

Baby, the other other white meat.™

Funny how WorldNetDaily (a tabloid news site/portal) is the only news organization in the entire world to report on this sensational story.

It's just more made-up garbage.

It is sad how a middle aged war veteran is reduced to trolling a video game message board linking to tabloid stories as a means of attacking people.
It's even sadder how just by typing I got him so pissed off that he feels the need to continually lash out at me.

Kansas board members hurl personal attacks in evolution debate

JOHN HANNA

Associated Press

TOPEKA, Kan. - A discussion about how evolution should be taught in public schools degenerated Wednesday into personal attacks among State Board of Education members.

The board is reviewing proposed standards drafted by three conservative members designed to expose students to more criticism of evolution in the classroom. During the discussion, four board members who want the standards to maintain their existing evolution-friendly tone assailed the proposal.

Bill Wagnon, of Topeka, told the three conservative board members they were the "dupes" of intelligent design advocates, who presented what Wagnon said was bad science during public hearings in May.

"It is all based on absolute and total fraud," Wagnon said of the proposal.

But one of the three board members, Connie Morris, of St. Francis, lectured the board's four moderates for not attending the public hearings in May, during which witnesses criticized evolutionary theory that natural chemical processes may have created the first building blocks of life, that all life has descended from a common origin and that man and apes share a common ancestor.

"Had you attended, you would have been informed, "Morris said. "You would be sitting here as informed individuals and not arrogantly calling us dupes."

Conservatives have a 6-4 majority, so much of what the three members proposed - if not all of it - is likely to survive.

The board didn't expect to make a decision Wednesday about the standards.

Chairman Steve Abrams, of Arkansas City, another one of the three members who drafted the proposal, said he intended to have it reviewed by a committee of educators and another outside group. That suggests the board won't vote until at least August.

Besides Abrams and Morris, helping draft the latest proposal was board member Kathy Martin, of Clay Center.

The ongoing debate over how evolution should be taught has brought international attention to Kansas. The four days of hearings in May attracted journalists from Canada, France, Great Britain and Japan.

The standards determine how fourth-, seventh- and 10th graders are tested on science. They currently describe evolution as a key concept for students to learn before graduating from high school, treating it as the best explanation for how life developed and changed over time.

The proposed standards don't specifically mention intelligent design, except to say the standards don't take a position. But advocates of intelligent design, which says some features of the natural world are so complex and well-ordered that they are best explained by an intelligent cause, organized the case against evolution during the hearings.

Many scientists view intelligent design as a form of creationism, and national and state science groups boycotted the public hearings, saying they were rigged against evolution. As a result, no scientist testified in favor of evolution.

State law requires the board to update its academic standards regularly, setting up this year's debate over evolution.

In 1999, the Kansas board deleted most references to evolution from the science standards, bringing international condemnation and ridicule to Kansas. Elections the next year resulted in a less conservative board, which led to the current, evolution-friendly standards. Conservative Republicans recaptured the board's majority in 2004 elections.

Battles over evolution also have occurred in recent years in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Circulated Monday was a newsletter from Morris, in which she derided evolution as an "age-old fairy tale," sometimes defended with "anti-God contempt and arrogance." She wrote that evolution is "a theory in crisis" and headlined one section of her newsletter "The Evolutionists are in Panic Mode!"

Kline alleges filth at abortion clinic

BY DION LEFLER

The Wichita Eagle

TOPEKA - State Attorney General Phill Kline presented materials to legislators Thursday alleging that a Kansas City, Kan., abortion provider operated a dangerously substandard medical facility and even ate fetal tissue.

The allegations about the facilities came during a presentation to the House Committee on Federal and State Affairs.

"It's a place where no woman, no person, should have to undergo a surgical procedure," Kline said.

The allegation that the physician ate fetal tissue was included in written materials that Kline presented to the committee. The report came from a Kansas City police officer; the name of the witness he interviewed was blacked out in documents provided to legislators.

The report, prepared for Kline after officers conducted an investigation of an unrelated theft complaint at the clinic, said officers observed "filthy" conditions in some parts of the facility and blood stains on the floor.

The doctor named in the allegations is Krishna Rajanna, who operates the Affordable Medical and Surgical clinic.

He denied the allegations against him and his clinic, particularly that he consumed fetal tissue.

"That's untrue and a totally, totally made-up story," he said.

Rajanna said he thinks the attorney general was misled. The doctor said he thinks he is the victim of a political smear campaign staged by abortion opponents.

"They've been trying to reduce the number of abortions by doing various things," he said.

Kline, an opponent of abortion, said he thinks conditions at the clinic should prompt both pro-life and pro-choice legislators to agree to pass a stalled bill that would establish strict regulations and inspection requirements for clinics that perform abortions.

He said abortions are an "invasive surgical procedure" and clinics that perform them should have to comply with rules that govern outpatient surgical centers.

At present, abortion clinics fall under rules that apply to doctors' offices, which are largely unregulated.

On Thursday, Rajanna opened his clinic to a reporter from the Associated Press. The wire service said the facility appeared generally clean, but a back room was cluttered.

Kline said he thinks Rajanna had cleaned up the operation since the damaging photos were taken.

The allegations against Rajanna are under investigation by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts. The board can withdraw a physician's license to practice.

Rep. Bill Mason, R-El Dorado, is chairman of the Committee on Federal and State Affairs. He said the report "is one of the most disgusting things I've ever read, if that's true."

He said he expects Kline's presentation will spur tougher regulation of medical offices.

"We do have a real disconnect in the inspection (of abortion clinics) and, I guess, doctor's clinics as well," he said.

It's really too bad you can't wish this away Quack. It's true.

I will however accept you defending the man's right to eat aborted fetuses as a dietary choice. I'd expect nothing less from you.

As for the fetus eating......no comment aside from the existance of cannibalism for thousands of years. Although, it's still anamolous that it would exist in civilized society.

If there was anything to this story, FOX News would be all over it by now. The initial report was in April. And it's one employee accusing him of eating. Has he even been charged for that?

If he did it, he's a disgusting human being, but right now, that's a very big if.

I think this is bullshit. The first article is definately bullshit, the other one appear to be just an anti choice attorney general attempt to smear abortion doctors.

I think the later articles have at least some credibility - the doctor was operating a somewhat dirty office. Ooh, the horror. That's something definitely deserving of a reprimand and maybe some fines, but I don't think its worth taking his license away for, unless its a repeat offense.

The first article is definitely propiganda BS, though.

I admit that I was wrong in posting this article. I knew it was false and purely propaganda.

I apologize and ask for your forgiveness, and I promise to act more grown-up in the future.

Ha ha - that threw me for just a sec until I saw the Cheap Ass Newbie status.

Regarding the OP - yeah it sucks that there's a filthy abortion clinic, though the cannibalism part isn't true (seemingly). Patients shouldn't go there then. If was to get a tattoo I certainly would choose a hygenic tattoo parlor.

Regarding the fight between PAD and Quack - in my head it's David Duchovny vs Ronald Reagan in the Beyond Thunderdome setting. That's a pretty even matchup.

A bunch of dead kitten ghosts vs PAD lite. That would be great.

Well, just imagine the conditions if abortion was illegal. Women would be begging for Dr. Rajanna.

I deleted the fake PAD account. Please do not do that again.
