Account hacked, LIVE lost- Wat do?

My account got hacked last night and I already called Microsoft about it after I managed to get on and change my password,but the hackers somehow transferred my live subscription (didn't even know this was possible) Microsoft can't transfer it back or some bullshit either.

Tl;dr lost xbox live how get ?
 
Yeh... Lots if people lately... I'm one. You can make another account that has a free month of live. Not the same I know. But you can get on line. But only 3 accounts get free month.
 
I wonder if these hackings are the fallout of the Sony PSN hack, where people's info was stolen but they may have used the same gamertag or email+password for XBL as well?
 
Regardless...

With the recent surge, I urge everyone with a short/easy/obvious password to go and revise it. Add some capital letters/numbers, and make it 8+ characters!

On the same note, try not to use the same password as your bank/email account, just incase.
