I just found out about this game's existence. It looks pretty awesome, but even if it's not, I'm sure I'll still buy it for a dollar. I'm quite certain I'll get my money's worth. The Facebook page says they're looking at a "September-ish release".

What they need to do is remake WCW/NWO Revenge or Wrestlemania 2000 and sell those on the cheap. Way better than any of the wrestling games made since then.

Definitely in for a buck. I've heard about this game for a while now, and it actually looks better than I expected. Looking forward to the arena editing tool.

Fire Pro Returns is amazing. I have so many imported files from the net and it's amazing none the less. But this also looks good as well.

Thanks for that insightful post into your thoughts about this awesome game. You can always mail me the dollar. I'll give you my address.

That's not possible due to licensing issues. I'm also fairly certain that AKI no longer exists as a developer. If they did, I'd love to see a downloadable version of any of their games, minus the licensed wrestlers and arenas for obvious reasons (but hopefully including a very advanced editing tool!).

I need to get a PS2 for many reasons, but especially to play Fire Pro Returns. Fire pro Wrestling D is my favorite wrestling game of all time as far as the actual gameplay goes.

So you know the game is awesome, despite the fact it has yet to be released. Now that's insightful.

Hell for a buck I might even check it out. I have not played a wrestling game in a long time but hell it is only a buck.

Yes, just like when somebody watches a video for Gears Of War or any upcoming game they show.

So yes, this game will be awesome.

Coming from the guy who'd rather flush a dollar down the toilet than on a game that has yet to be released.

Brilliant.

Yep, I thought of the same thing while reading his post.

This looks really awesome for only a buck! I LOVE the N64 WCW/NWO World Tour & Revenge, WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy! I have always wondered why WWE never went back to that highly successful well again. I like Smackdown as much as any wrestling fan, but it doesn't beat the control system of the N64 counterparts.

What I would really want to see released is a current roster WWE No Mercy styled game. I'd even like it if it were similar to N64 graphics as an arcade release.

Just played the trial and thought the gameplay was terrible. Sadly not the worst wrestling game I have ever played though.
