Ok, so I've recently made some purchases to get myself started flipping games. I just wondered if anyone has had success with the site I plan on using, EzTradeIn. The site seems legit, I'm just worried that my mass order of games will get dropped in price or something. Anywho, here are my finds:

Games worth $30 Trade-In Value:

Tekken 6 (360)- $19.99 Used at GameFly
Left 4 Dead 2 (360)- $19.99 Used at GameFly
NCAA Football 10 (360)- $19.99 Used at GameFly
Little Big Planet (PS3)- $22.99 Used at Gamestop.com (Using in conjunction with 25off and Edge, this is the best deal I've found so far. 10 Copies bought for ~$165, worth $300 in TIV)

Games worth $20 Trade-In Value:
Wolfenstein (360)- $12.99 Used at GameFly

So please help contribute to the thread with deals you have found with flipping, as well as your success stories with EzTradeIn and other sites. Let's make this a great thread :)G

Just to let you know, this kind of thread rarely flies. Flipping is kind of a hush hush thing. Those who don't do it tend to condemn those who do, and those who flip don't want that information spread out so any lurker can come in and kill the deal.

EDIT:
I have to admit I have posted something that was already here on accident but posting the exact same thing in two different threads is asinine.

Oh man, that just makes it worse. Hahaha. Ha.

Normally I'm not too keen on flipping, but this made me feel a bit better:

Little Big Planet (PS3)- $22.99 Used at Gamestop.com (Using in conjunction with 25off and Edge, this is the best deal I've found so far. 10 Copies bought for ~$165, worth $300 in TIV)

Show me a place that will trade in a game for full MSRP and I'll show you a company going straight out of business.

No the TIV at EzTradeIn is $30, not at GameStop

Yes but what eastshore means is that you can buy LittleBigPlanet for $30(MSRP) new right now. Any place that is offering to buy a used copy for the same price...

I understand this, but it's not my point. LBP GOTY went Greatest Hits this month, it now retails for $30. Not even eztradein is going to give you full price for it.

They have, and did.

You really overestimate some of these companies if you think otherwise. Flipping only exists because companies don't update TIV's on time/thoroughly enough. ;)
And sorry for double post, but just checked their site and they are only offering $20 for it now.
Thanks bud, already made my money though ;) notice how my post was made a day or two before the price drop
Advice: Don't post TIVs on CAG or TIVs will drop because so many people will trade them in. DURRRRRRRRRRR
Yea I've learned that. I was just gonna be a nice guy and share the wealth but no more of that
Yea I've learned that. I was just gonna be a nice guy and share the wealth but no more of that
so wealthy. only $10 flips, waste of time. gotta learn to be a pro like me and be all beast mode then come back or no one cares bro.

You made your post yesterday, and you said that you were worried that the price might drop! Are you certain you're really locked in at $30? And did they really take all 10 copies? I'm not familiar with this particular trade-in place, but from what I understand with most of them they dick around with your games for a while and then the price drops. If they took all ten copies AND gave you $30 each, then I gotta give you props, but I find it hard to believe that a company would be this dense.

Have fun with them - apparently they are a part of dealtree

http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/dealtree-c98327.html

also

5. Upon receipt of the Item, Dealtree will inspect the Item to determine the Item’s valuation. If Dealtree accepts the item, Dealtree will provide to you a gift card in the amount of the Valuation selected by Dealtree. THE VALUATION MAY BE SUBSTANTIALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE PROVIDED TO YOU. YOU AGREE THAT DEALTREE’S VALUATION OF THE ITEM AFTER DEALTREE RECEIVES THE ITEM IS FINAL.

6. When you place a trade-in order or when you receive confirmation from Dealtree that you have placed a trade-in order, Dealtree has not agreed to actually perform the trade-in. Dealtree’s acceptance of your trade-in order only occurs when Dealtree sends you the gift card for the valuation of the Item determined by Dealtree. You acknowledge that Dealtree may reject any Item for any reason and may limit the quantity of Items to be traded in.

10. YOU AGREE THAT DEALTREE WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU IF THE VALUATION YOU RECEIVE IS LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE INITIALLY PROVIDED TO YOU, IF DEALTREE REJECTS ANY ITEM, OR IF THE ITEM IS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.

So basically they can change the price, they can limit your quantities, and then make you pay extra shipping costs if you want your games back.

Yep I made my post yesterday. WHEN THE TIV WAS AT $30.

Well, in your first post you say that you "plan on using eztradeins", and now you're saying "they've already honored my trades." Things have progressed quite quickly I must say!

But alas, I guess it makes no point in debating... if you got shafted you wouldn't admit it, and if you actually managed to pull off this incredible flip I wouldn't believe it.

Like someone else said, threads like this never last long and posting it in multiple spots just does nothing but brings more attention to flipping opportunities for lurking CAG's and people who are double registered(here and Slickdeals or FatWallet).

Plus, threads like this make it seem like you want someone to hand you all of the information so you can make money/credit without having to do much work to get it.

Forget it. Ha I've already found more things and I'm not sharing since apparently I'm an idiot for doing so. But the site has told me that quotes will be honored and my games got shipped out today at the high quoted trade in soo yea.
Isn't it easier to just get a damn job?
So people can't have a normal job and do this on the side to make a little extra money/credit or do this as their primary job?

Damn. I better start emailing all of the Ebay power sellers and telling them that their chosen profession is not a real job and they should go get a real one because some shmoe on the internet said so.
