advice on xbox games with great graphics
im looking for xbox games that have great graphics and sick gameplay. please say of any thing you can think of.
Chronicles of Riddick

I agree on NinjaGaiden, I would get the "Black" version though. I got it recently for $9.99 @Kmart. It definitely pushes the Xbox to the limits, graphically speaking. Gameplay is great also (the game is hard as hell).

Burnout 3 or Burnout Revenge and Need For Speed: Most Wanted are some of the best-looking and best-playing racers on the console. Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge are totally and utterly insane arcade racing games, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a more deep and more realistic racing game.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is a gorgeous on-rails flying shooter very much like Star Fox, with deeper gameplay mechanics.

Hitman: Blood Money is a great-looking stealth action game, like Splinter Cell but with more style and more open-endedness.
Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Forza Motorsport
I was going to say I still think JSRF is one of the best looking games on the system (and my favorite game overall). It looks incredible in hi-res on the 360 - only downside is the really bad slowdown on 99th Street, but so far I've only experienced it on that one level (and I'm about 5 hours into it now).

Besides the games already listed off the top of my head:

Fable
Far Cry (Both of Them)
Prince of Persia
Jade Empire
Otogi 2
Phantom Dust
Psychonaughts
Oddworld Stranger's Wraith
Fatal Frame 2
DOA 2: Ultimate

I know I am probably in the minority, but for some reason the gameplay in JSRF didn't measure up to my memory of playing Jet Grind Radio on the Dreamcast. Still a great game though, just felt like a wierd remake.

Chronicles of Riddick: It has possibly the best graphics on the Xbox and it also has great gameplay.

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory: The best splinter cell ever with great graphics.

Ninja Gaiden: A great game with great graphics except that it is really hard.

Psychonauts: This is definately the funniest game on with Xbox with a bunch of very unique graphics.

Jet Set Radio Future: A cool arcadey alternative to Tony Hawk games, with great Cel Shaded graphics.

Forza Motorsport: The Best looking racing game on Xbox.

Jade Empire: The best looking RPG on Xbox.

There is a game I have that I thought had excellent graphics. Its called "Gladiator: Sword of Vengence"- It may be hard to find but I enjoyed playing it. As for the gameplay, its not great but its not bad either. Its a bit of a button masher.

I totally agree with you. I played through JGR on my Dreamcast many times, I think the pacing in Future was too slow and the level design was needlessly complicated. JGR the original everything felt fast paced (despite having to stop to tag complicated graffiti). But I prefer doing that, versus missing a couple spots of a graffiti on a long tag in Future and having to go back to hit those two spots you missed.

Don't forget that to get the best graphics with the XBOX you'll need to pick up the Advanced AV box so you can connect your XBOX to your TV with component cables. Going from 480i to even 480p makes a world of difference.

YES. BLACK is an amazingly gorgeous game with intense shooting FPS gameplay. I'm surprised this was just now mentioned, I even forgot about it.

Advanced AV pack is S-video. High-definition AV pack is component.

I dunno how people can think that Ninja Gaiden has the best grapics on the system. Unless NG: Black has significanyly better graphics than the original game that I have.

In addittion to games already mentioned here I'd add the 2 Kingdon Under Fire games to the list. Great graphics, and Dynasty Warriors ripoff gameplay.

Even tho its cartooney, Crimson Skies has great graphics and its a great game. That may be my favorite Xbox exclusive game. And you can pick it up for under $5.

I also though Gun Valkyrie had great graphics.
