Aide's memo reveals DeLay's strategies

The guy who is best at this is Rupert Murdoch.

He riles them up on Fox News, and then parades their hysterical, toothless, waddling fat-asses on his Fox reality shows for us to lampoon. It's pure dark-sided genius!

OMG a Senate aide! What a barometer of the what the party thinks of its base .

I have to question this guys sanity. Where is Christian radio's audience? They probably even lose to Air America and that my friends is hard to do .

Is there even a nationally known Christian radio show who's all about influencing politics with his/her broadcast? If there is I never heard of them.

I thought Rush was pretty christian. I read a quote of his where he's bitching about how he's the only one that supports christmas. I'll find it a little later today. It may not be the Jesus Christ Power Hour, but, it certainly is explicit enough.

However, there is Christian TV! That's where the big bucks come in!

Rush is not even close to being a Christian broadcaster. If he is so is Randi Rhodes.

There is big bucks in Christian TV. Seemingly every city has a religous broadcaster, the Pittsburgh one is 5 minutes from where I live. Not to mention all the syndicated stuff on various cable channels or early mornings/late at night on broadcast channels.

I think christian radio is more local nutcases. I don't really hear it here, but everytime I drive through upstate new york that's all I can ever find on the radio. Though rush, while not a christian show, claims he advocates christian values and has a strong christian listener base.

Bill O'Reilly, for one

So a Muslim wanted a Muslim holiday, which is absurd in a Judeo-Christian country. I mean, we can't be having Hindu and Buddha. I mean, come on. I mean, this country is founded on Judeo-Christian traditions" —Bill O'Reilly, discussing a Florida school district's holiday plans.

... nobody sticks up for Christmas except me. Did Peter Jennings stick up for Christmas last night? I don't believe he did. How about Brian Williams, did he? Did Rather stick up for Christmas? How about Jim Lehrer -- did he? Did Larry King [say] "hello, I love Christmas" -- did he? No.

You want to have two guys making out in front of your 4-year-old? It's OK with them. A guy smoking a joint, blowing the smoke into your little kid's face? OK with them. And I'm not exaggerating here. This is exactly what the secular movement stands for.
