if it comes to bd it will easily be 200 bucks because that is the current trend. the site says 169.99 not 129.99 op. you might wanna change that./

Um. Itd be a hell of a lot more than 169.99. Itd be 250+ odds are.. and a rip off -_-V For all that crap you get?

And fox never said they were blu ray exclusive.. they just keep releasing things on blu ray.. and only blu ray.. they never made an announcement.

ice ok maybe u are right 250. take for instance the sopranos on sd to bd great price difference there.

this is why i am not putting stock into bd or hd as right now just is too much of a rip[ off for common people

Soprano's is what? 4 discs? This set would be over 10.. at least. Unless they of course put multiple movies on one disc.. they could..

Its not a rip off when you look at it..

If you have a high def tv, HDMI, 1080p (or 720p.. sigh), and a decent receiver.. the difference is phenomenal..
 
While I never liked the Alien movies all that much, the Predator movies and AVP were decent, but $170 if it's not on sale for regular dvds and some fuckin toys? Pffffft. I'll wait like everyone else and hope this bad boy clearances next year or so for cheap.
 
I already own all the movies in both series with their respective special editions. I got the Alien Quad for $30 and the Predators boxset for $20, so a total of $50. $80-110 more for gimmicky statue isn't worth it, though that statue is pretty cool.
 
They just want to milk the fans one more time before they release those movies in HD. You know they are goind to do is in the next 5 years, so why would you bother buying this set?

Actually, I saw it in store for 129.99 two days ago...

Actually, as I stated in my post, the price is $129.99 in store.
 
I bought the Alien Quad about a year or 2 ago and have only watched Aliens on it. I want to get the Predator set but have yet to do it. Chances are if they come out on HD I will only get AVP.

AVP was terrible. You've got the right idea about waiting for these to clearance, though. I wonder how low they'll go?
 
This set is HUGE. Its only a matter of a few months before this gets discounted down to $70 or so. My BB had 10 of them stacked up last night.
