Trade in a pc, laptop, or console for $200+ in credit for an Alienware pc. Not a bad deal if you pick up a used Wii somewhere. I regularly see them for $50, which you can make $150 profit on. Not too shabby if you want an Alienware, though I know lots of people hate them Hope someone finds this a deal!

If you are getting a good deal on the PC before you throw in the console trade this might not be a bad deal.

But, I have a feeling that like car lots - Alienware might be inflating the prices a bit so that you might be thinking you are getting a $200 discount when really you are just giving them a game console.

Shipping is another catch.  PC companies will give you a $100 break on the price one week but charge $50 for shipping.  The next week it will be free shipping and no discounts on the computers...

I have an Alienware Aurora R1 that I got as a warranty replacement for an old XPS machine I had several years ago. Other than the power supply deciding to go "POP" one day, it's been a solid computer.

However, my brother and another friend of mine own Aurora R4s and they have had some major issues. My friend had to have his motherboard replaced and both of them have had the stock coolers go bad. The liquid they use turns to gel over the course of a year.
