Already own kindle fire would a Tab 4 be worth the cash

It will be more powerful but some of that power will be sucked by the higher resolution, in games at least.

Edit: I'm thinking of the higher end model which is a tablet. No I wouldn't get it

I've never used a Kindle before but have loved Samsung's OS and UI since the Galaxy SS3. I'm a big Android fan.

I would wait until the new models come out as I believe the next line (Tab 5, S6 etc) will be way more powerful and have more features then this year's line.

but wonder what the prices will be. Can get a Tab 4 for 139 on amazon.

is there any tablets that can hook into steam and play steam games

 
My family loves our kindle and I just purchased a new one during black Friday. If you have Prime it should be your go to tablet. Only problem I have with it is the limits of apps available in the Amazon app store.

i got my kindle last year and probally have not booted it up since april 2014

That's why I said family. I never touch the thing myself. I only use smartphone and laptop. My daughter's can't get enough of the kindle. They game on it all the time and watch prime shows. My oldest daughter doesn't have a phone so she takes advantage of all the apps. For me a tablet is useless. I game exclusively on consoles and view tablet and phone gaming as inferior time passers which I only use when I have a doctor's appointment.
 
Do you have Prime? That's a big difference maker. BTW galaxy at $139 is a great price.

They recently changed it to include a whole bunch of music downloads for free with prime. Don't forget you can watch prime shows on kindle or Ps3. If your watching a show on your kindle you can resume it on PlayStation for the big screen. Might be time to boot that kindle back up and check around before making your decision. You might have the device you need already. That's the cheapest way.
